So, I've been waiting for 24 hours now for EA to actually respond to my support petition to unlock my Mass Effect 1 installations. The tool can not do it because I've re-installed windows.
So, BIOWARE, if EA is going to do the support for you, how about you give them a call and get them to actually do some support? Why else claim you have support.
I find it so utterly ridiculous that I can't even play a game I bought. And yes, I'm annoyed, I don't normally become annoyed, but this is too silly. If you can't keep the support promised, perhaps it's time to remove the authorization demand, huh?

I believe there's a deauthorization tool for ME1. So if you know you're going to reformat, you could run that first. That would save you the headache of contacting support.

I don't blame you. Too bad they can't give you a 'three pack' of authorizations though. If you have to unexpectedly reinstall (crash or virus or something), you're back to square one.

Yup, don't remind me lol. But this is a problem only us paying customers have, pirates don't have to bother. So, what's our incentive?

Or here.
Yup thanks, couldn't use it since the installation wasn't on this install of windows. I was bummed out. Doubt I'll have anymore bad luck with my computer now though. That tool will be in my vault.
