So rather than selling the gifts I find I usually give them to party members even if they are party members I don't plan on using. In the mage tower you can go back down to where you picked up wayne and access your entire party just like you were in camp (I love this as I can use wayne in my party but then go back down and pick up leliana for use to pick locks..) Does giving them gifts in this location as opposed to say actually in camp effect in anyway the ammount of affection increase you get for the gifts?
Thanks!
Giving gifts not in camp does it effect raise in affection?

I haven't noticed a difference in how much they appreciate something regardless of where I give it to them -- in camp, roaming around the Deep Roads, whatever.

Wow you can give them gifts in camp? I never knew I just used the switch party menu in cities.

Just cycle through the Inventory for each party member. Sort of like you can swap out their armor and weapons. (PC) Just right-click and hold on the gift while their Inventory page is up. That opens a radial menu; click on the box with the ribbon bow and ouila! you've given them that gift.MisterBellyButtonMan wrote...

Or drag the gift onto them, that's a little easier.
