Cailan's gear (helm, breastplate, gloves, boots, sword, shield- varous mini bosses, Cailan's chest)
Nug Crusher (two handed hammer- weapon's rack)
Duncan's two swords (long and dagger- Boss)
Reapeater Gloves (gloves- random chest I think near the archery grounds)
The Joining Chalice (gift- on the ground where you did the joining)
Corrupted Magister's Staff (staff- the mages' chest, near the rubble pile where you find the key to Cailan's chest)
Is there anything I've missed?

I wasn't overly impressed with the gear, but the quest itself was worth the DL. Maric's blade was bland, and I'm not a fan of the Star Fang sword design, and it's really not all that powerful. Duncan's Sword had better stats and looked cooler.
The Gear seems more designed for your characer progression up in levels rather than super powered gear we are use to from other DLC. Personally I like that much better, I feel the amount of DLC super weapons and armor we have gotten already has really just broken immersion for me and I end up selling most of the DLC stuff, however this gear and armor feels like it is useful but it isn't the BEST it is just an option as it should be.

ummmmmmmmm maybe it's just me, but what super powered gear are you getting? I haven't seen a trace of it in any of the DLC's

I thought I'd list all of the unique items I've found so far from the new expansion. If anyone has anything else to add, please post. We'll get at least a tentative list going.

Duncan's sword easily replaced my starfang, and allistair got the kings armor. i wont need it for awakenings so he can keep it i have enough gold.
Thats what I am doing..Alistair carrying Maric's Sword, after all Maric was his father, and Cailan his half-brother.

Personally, I actually saw this happening between the Archdemon's death and the coronation - they are the royal arms and armour, after all, and what you see there is probably roughly what you'd expect to face after the darkspawn horde and broken and scattered.Feraele wrote...

So, in other words: Alistair keeps the royal arms and armour. I'll take the Warden-Commander plate back to give to my next lieutenant, however...

if i was in the middle of the campaign and did it would they just go to my inventory?
Any items you find at Ostagar (playing the dlc) will remain in your inventory and be available for use when your team returns to the main campaign.
