I remember some time ago there were several very detailed threads with alot of console codes for mass effect 1. Not just the typical cheats but advanced tweaking for everything from dialog to gender and I felt that this enhanced the game significantly especially when you have already played it over a few times.
I was wondering if anybody has gotten anywhere with console commands on mass effect 2? Last I checked nobody actually found and tested ALL the commands for mass effect 1. I mean if they did there would be alot in the way of body mods and skins to toy around with. Maybe mass effect 2 will be different since they spent more time on it.
If you have any pointers or formulas you want to share post them in this thread. This includes numbers and measurments for damage and player speed or cooldown timers. Or if you know how to get the console working please share that too.

Well I know people have been editing the ini . . . but I don't know of anyone that actually managed to activate and mess with the dev console.

I think after a given time period where it is likly everybody has already beat the game. the developers release all the fun little tools and tweaks so that players can learn and expieriment. Much like the construction packs for bethesda games.

Which .ini file? What methods/tools were they using to edit the aforementioned .ini file?Well I know people have been editing the ini . . .
Considering that the developers indicated that there would be absolutely NO SDK for ME2, it would be nice if someone devised a method of enabling the console. Frankly, I think it's a crying shame that all PC games aren't released with some type of SDK, considering how toolkits extend the max potential life of such titles.

I just wish there was a file i could edit to skip the intro and go straight to character creation. I don't mind running around the Cerberus facility but sitting through miranda and TIMs converstaion followed by the normandy cutscene is just annoying IMO.

OMG i totally agree, i walk away when the cutscenes i cant skip come up, sometimes hours later i come back. but yeah enable a dev kit right now, mass effect is too awesome to not have it.

I agree, or at least the console should become accessible after playing the game once.
