I am currently a Renegade FemShep and I am trying to recruit Morinth but it wont let me. Do I need a higher Renegade score to unlock that option? Anyone know?

I had a high paragon with some renegade and it gave me the option. Are you at the point of the fight ?

Play mass effect 1 as a Renegade, is my Guess. I do not play the Renegade way.

I saved before I started the mission. but I get to the appartment and I chose the 2 renegade options then the 3rd set (final) of questions i can only chose the default one. I dont have enough paragon or renegade to select anything else.

I had a renegade save from ME1 and i was able to, she is awesome btw i was so surprised they put something like that in the game.

A bit off topic, but does anyone's audio cut out during the fight between Samora and Morinth? It's very odd.

I had high Paragon but it didn't let me fight her mind control, which is a bummer because I really wanted to hear the smart ass remark I was going to make.



I think my game is bugged, I have a maxed out bar yet negotiation options are blacked out.

Im having the same problem. Nothing comes up when morinth and samara get stuck in that stalemate. sheppard just automatically takes samaras side and im already pretty high up in renegage points too.

The earlier in the game that you do Samara's loyalty mission, the less points you need in paragon/renegade to get the choice. The game bases alot of the dialogue options on the percentage % of how often you are Paragon or Renegade

It's supposed to be a really hard check to make, though I've heard that it's easier for Paragons than Renegades (ironic, since a Paragon won't take Morinth). If you're playing a neutral/mixed character, you probably won't be able to get her. Not a bug. Are we going to have to post Ecael's P/R score info again?



Short version: the bars on your squad screen are kind of irrelevant. What the game tracks is how many morality points you've earned versus how many you COULD have earned by this point. So, say you need 90% Renegade to get her; you would not need 90% of your bar full, you would need to have acquired 90% of all Renegade points in the game so far. This means that you technically need fewer points if you recruit her earlier, but again, it's not numerical, it's a percentage.

Morinth has higher health than Samara.  I think her health is equal to Jacobs when you max out ardat-yakshi.

Have you tried respeccing your class skill so that you get 100% bonus to Renegade/Paragon? I had the same problem with my (mostly) Renegade Shep, but a quick respec took care of it.

I think you need like 75% paragon or renegade and use you charm/intimidate options to not get dominated. But I could be wrong.

you need 75% at least. i would recommend respeccing if you think that will get you there. or do some more missions and get some more renegade points and come back later

I have a high Renegade score, nearly full, but it will not let me recruit her. i am a bit more than halfway past the final bar for renegade. All missions prior to Reaper IFF are done.
