Another Easter Egg or reference, if you'd like... did any of you see the movie Network (was released in'76 as far as I know)?

If you did, take a tour in the Omega markets.

There is an ad on the Citadel that mentions how Sheperd's masculinity would improve with their product, and if Tali is in your party then the spokesperson will say, "The next time you're out on the town with Miss 'Zorah..." I'm assuming it mentions other female party members if they are in your party.

There is a System called "Skepsis" and it consists of the planets: Darwin, Wallace, Crick, Franklin, Watson, Keimowitz, Pauling.

Skepsis = Scepticism

Crick, Francis
Darwin, Charles
Franklin, Rosalind
Keimowitz, Alison Rachel or Keimowitz, Robert I.
Pauling, Linus
Wallace, Alfred Russel
Watson, Elliot Lovegood Grant or Watson, Andrew James

All of the above were or are famous or well-known scientists.

If you talk to Joker after destroying the Heretic base, he'll suggest Legion is still walking around if you want to pick up the spare.

On Illium when you finally reach Nassana the exchange is a fantastic reference to the Search for the Holy Grail that had me in stitches:

Nassana: Shepard! I thought you were dead?!

Shepard: I got better...

It gets me the most because FemShep delivers the line so smoothly that it doesn't instantly register that it's a reference. Then I thought about it for a moment and cracked up. :P

All the Baldur's Gate ones I've seen so far made me incredibly happy as well.

Another easter-egg:

EDI is a resemblance to the eye of Sauron of Lord of the Rings.

Lots of great stuff in here. ^_^

Couple I didn't see mentioned. (If you'd count it?)

When you talk to the Citadel Presidium Groundskeeper and he mentions how being asked about fish is the most popular question after, "Where's the bathroom?"

I remember a lot of folk being critical of the lack of bathrooms on the Citadel and on the Normandy in ME1. Now they're in there. Happy? :P

Edit: - When in combat and Jack says, "I Will Destroy You." Seems to me a nod to the over use of this phrase by Biotics in ME1.

I thought it was funny when Mordin talked about Kirahee (spelling) from Virmire and said "He loved his speaches, HOLD THE LINE"

This particular line is absolutely hilarious! I also found it interesting because despite Mordin's critisism of Kirahee speeches I've caught him saying "Hold the line" several times when he was in my squad. In other words, Mordin is amazing.

What's even cooler (or tragic in fact) is if Mordin dies in the suicide mission when leading one of the team's, his last dying words are:

"Tell them... I held the line."

As small / brief a character that Kirahee was in ME1, I enjoyed Mordin's frequent references to that inspiring Salarian. (I found Kirahee's speech in ME1 inspirational).

Maybe someone mentioned that be4: I remember taking Garrus to the plagued district (Omega). At one moment he says something like "Is it just me, or is it hot here... *cough* This is not good."

And, as some of you know, Grunt, voiced by amazing Steve Blum, yells "I am krogan!" from time to time. Same with Pyre Fierceshot (Guild Wars - voiced by Steve too), who yells "I am Charr!", which may be a reference to something else... but I forgot :P

Taking Legion to Anderson and talking about geth makes him refer to Legion as a "Shepard's war trophy".

Edit: Somehow, I didn't found EDI's joke about "people on knees" amusing.

This isn't really a reference, but the planet where you do Jacob's loyalty mission strongly reminded me of unknown world/Rakatan habitat in KotOR 1. Fallen ships amongst a paradise kinda thing.

Also, the joke EDI makes is (I think) a BSG reference.

To me it´s closer to a combo between Lord of Flies and Heart of Drakness/Apocalypse Now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this.  When I first played that mission, all I could think was "Heart of Darkness?  I *hate* Heart of Darkness!"  Unsurprisingly, I'm not overly fond of that mission. :)

The Krogan who talk about fish also remind me of the way America treats Muslims.

And the Asari's who are stuck at security because they are on the Geth infiltrator watch list also seems to be poking fun at the Government having a 8 year old on a terrorist watch list.

By eating them? Or did the fish blow up the twin towers...

Aha... The fish pray 5 times a day... No?

I see no connection.

How does a Krogan wanting to eat fish from a space-pond translate to how America treats Muslims?  I dont get that "easter egg".

Another Easter-Egg I found, you can ask Mouse for the Shepard VI.

Morinth quoting (paraphrasing?) a line from the Sith Code from KOTOR II when you're speaking with her in the bar.

I think she says, "Power is Strength", and one of your reply options is, "Strength is.....".

i saw that people mention the quarian and turian talking on illium but no one seems to have noticed she says she has a built in vibrator in her suit and she was gonna show him :D

Yep, and right afterwords she notices you are listening in "Um... private conversation, human!"

Also in that bar, did anybody catch the Asari bartender/matriarch in the background facepalming herself when Conrad is talking to Shepherd?

Yes. It's hilarious!

Did anybody notice that Liara says, when you first walk into her office, "Have you ever faced an Asai commando squad before" is an me1 reference. Matriarch Benezia says the same thing when Shepard fist encounters her on Noveria.

There are 3 planets named Watson, Crick, and Hirschfield in one of the systems. They found the structure of double helix DNA and the rest as well.

I was also going to bring up the Monty Python reference... When that response came up my first thought was "SHE TURNED ME INTO A NEWT!"

Also, not so much an easter egg, but if you walk into the womens bathroom on the Normandy as a maleshep(assume opposite for femshep works, haven't tried) EDI politely directs you to the correct bathroom.

If you wait and bring Legion with you when you talk to the council for the first time, Legion will state that its impossible for the remains of Sovereign to be Geth tech, since Geth tech isnt that advanced. The Salarian Councillor dismisses Legion and calls him a trophy bot.

One of the Tupari adverts says that "only loosers drink Paragade".
