I was struck by how much one of the spaceships looked like Jango Fett's vehicle.   And, this is the best ... I would have sworn I saw the "Pillar Of Autumm" in the ship graveyard coming out of the Omega 4 relay.

I thought I was the only one!

I haven't looked through all 11 pages so perhaps someone brought it up already but in one of the stores on level 26 there is a couple discussing what to buy for their baby. This couple was in ME1 in the financial district (forgot the name of the sidequest) where you had to convince her to get treatment for her child. In ME2, the lady asks her brother which product to buy for the baby and the guy tells her something like
"I don't know maybe we should talk to a random person on the street and ask what they think" - probably talking about Shepard in ME1.

I wish I coulda said hi to them or something..

To those who might not have noticed, Krogan Poetry, is most like a reference to Vogon(?) Poetry from Hitchhiker's Guide.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but the sub machine gun sounds like the aliens movie's marines assault Pulse rifles. Exactly the same sound. I can hear Ripley and hicks all over the aliens ripping them with the pulse rifles.

Bioware tends to make a different references to specific things in their games as in DA: O codex entry 042 quotes clicking over one's head being the answer to Life, the Universe and everything.

Also The drink in Dark Star is green while every other bar serves blue drinks. People have mentioned that this is Star Trek reference, not a trekkie so meh, however Legion can play a forth-wall breaking moment if you take him on tali's loyalty mission as he won't need to scan her omni-tool for the schism convo.

The Tupari advertisements were pretty funny. If you keep clicking on the vending machine in the warehouse, the voice pitching Tupari to you seems to get increasingly desperate (and/or mentally unstable) as it tries to get you to buy the sports drink. It was quite funny when I finally heard the last pitch (and then it started over from the beginning). I had no idea there were so many lines until I started clicking on the vending machine because I was goofing off prior to working on Garrus' loyalty mission.

I must have completely heard the Krogan mechanic on Tuchanka wrong. I thought he called the truck a "tonka." I must have been wrong or else I'm the only one who buys toy trucks for their nephews/played with tonka trucks as a child.

Ok the "red sand" in this game made me think of KOToR 1 when your on the sith lords burial planet (can't remember the name) There's someone there that tells you about a secret compartment in the cargo room. In there was either "red sand" or "red dust" Can't remember exactly.

Not sure if they all fall under Easter Eggs

-OK it took me a little bit to figure out what race it was from until I saw it later, but there is a Quarian ship flying in the sky of Korlus.

- This one probably was noticed back when Mass Effect first came out but its still worth adding. The whole Quarian and Geth situation as heavily borrowed from the new Battlestar Galactica series. Even the saying “keelah se'lai” is similar to the “so say we all”, count the syllables.

-Dialog aimed at Shepard concerning his/her being dead. Is similar to the John Wayne film Big Jake.

-Hidden images on planets while scanning. Example like on Caleston in the Balor system, there what appears to be a foxes head just below a car of some sort.

-A Scottish engineer and the beautiful Yeoman an obvious nod to Star Trek.

-Getting drunk and then sick in Dark Star Lounge.

-The poor guy in Citadel still trying to get a refund because he didn’t keep his receipt.

-A lot of red mitten cars. I cant recall this but how many cut scenes where you are flying in one of these is it red? Maybe something to do with Canada and the Winter Olympics?

-Zaeed has a skull emblem on his right upper arm simillar to a Mandalorian emblem.

to me, Zaeed = Canderous.

noticed lots of Firefly nods (Joker mentions pulling a 'crazy Ivan' in the cockpit).

^technically that could be a hunt for Red October reference too. but meh.

that derelict Collector ship looks Reaver.

lots of Matrix Trilogy stuff.

Red Planet. BTTS had a character named Kate Bowman. Same name as the commander in Red Planet. EDI also sounds a whole lot like Lucille.

Also, Carrie Anne Moss.

And I noticed some serious name similarities between Kotor 2 and Mass Effect. Somebody else noticed them too right?

I can't remember exactly what he said but Joker references 2001: A Space Odyssey when he mentions something about if EDI started singing "Daisy Bell".

That was a space odyssey reference? Damn I have to TiVO it again. I knew Daisy Bell was the first song to be sung by a computer (IBM prototype) but did not catch the Space Odyssey reference.

It is HALs presentation song that he performs when he is activated for the first time. When the Pilot pulled out his hard drives, he reached that point of HALs memory and made him sing that song so he could tell when HAL is truly deactivated.

The bar 'Dark Star' is no doubt named after the cult sci-fi film of the same name.

Not sure if this was covered as I only recently discovered it on my second playthrough...

On the Asari world there is a rather rough looking bartender matriarch....Talking to her a bit will allow you to buy a drink from the kiosk. Select the Mystery Drink then talk to the bartender again and she will look like a younger hotter asari (Beer Goggles). I thought it was a glich at first, but I thought it was kind of funny. She still has the voice that sounds like she has smoked about a carton of cigs a day, however.

Shes also most likely Liara's other mother.

She says something to the effect of "hundred or so years ago I birthed an asari pureblood, didn't work out in the end"

except Liara is only like 52-53

Liara is 106
EDIT:
108 in ME2

Yes. But...

Benezia was Liara's mother. The bartender birthed a pureblood child. Which would make her a mother as well.

And I'm pretty sure Liara says she doesn't know who her father is in ME1.

So there. :P

On Miranda's loyalty mission, bring Jack with you. When the asari says something like "blahblahblah, or does Cerberus let you **** around like that?" to Miranda, Jack replies with "Hey, are we still recruiting? I like her."

Bringing Miranda on Jack's loyalty mission doesn't change anything, though, nor does bringing Tali on Legion's loyalty mission. One of the few times I've been disappointed by a lack of easter eggs.

Actually what the bartender said was "Even had a pureblood daughter once, i was the father. Didnt work out"

I believe she explicitly states "I was the father."

On Samara's recruitment mission take along Grunt as one of your party members. While everyone else at the suicidal order part mention they have to remember what Shepard says and the other says twice a day or too often Grunt says "Not often enough".

I am also pretty sure that when you are with Miranda and Jacob flying to the second Cerberus base in the lower left background there is a FreeSpace 2 Terran destroyer.

I thought Liara'Tsoni's speach when you first go meet her about "have you ever faced an Asari commando squad before human? few have." considering thats word for word (best I can remember) what Matriarch Benezia says when you go fight her in ME1.

Escape pods in the beginning, look just like in KOTOR
