Not sure if this was covered as I only recently discovered it on my second playthrough...
On the Asari world there is a rather rough looking bartender matriarch....Talking to her a bit will allow you to buy a drink from the kiosk. Select the Mystery Drink then talk to the bartender again and she will look like a younger hotter asari (Beer Goggles). I thought it was a glich at first, but I thought it was kind of funny. She still has the voice that sounds like she has smoked about a carton of cigs a day, however.
She says something to the effect of "hundred or so years ago I birthed an asari pureblood, didn't work out in the end"
except Liara is only like 52-53
Its ok, you tried.

Any dialogue that is different from the norm with team members is great. I can't recall any off the top of my head but was disappointed that Tali wasn't more interactive with Legion's quests.
no one has mentioned that friend of Tali's that you encounter in her recruitment mission is voiced by none other than Jane himself.

That was the only moment I wasn't sure if he did it on purpose or just commited a faux pas.Alorint wrote...
I liked when Tali was first aboard and Jacob suggested she "get to know the ships AI". Now, there are just some things you don't say to a Quarian. I know she was giving him the evil eye under her mask.

If you stand around listening to this convo long enough, the quarian will say "Excuse me, human. This is a private conversation".vashts1985 wrote...
on Illium, there is a Turian seeking relations with a Quarian that just dumped her human boyfriend. as the conversation goes on, she will sarcastically poke fun at "human fascination" with Quarians. obvious poke at the Tali fans around here.

She sends you an e-mail after the Thane recruitment mission, if you rescue all the salarians I think.

I don't know why, but when I read the description of the planet Parnassus, I was reminded a lot of Star Wars Episode 2.
"If it is not in the data base, it simply does not exist."
When I read Parnassus this poped up in my head: "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus"

Also harkened back to ME1 where there was a Starship troopers reference in the rachni side missions

I was struck by how much one of the spaceships looked like Jango Fett's vehicle. And, this is the best ... I would have sworn I saw the "Pillar Of Autumm" in the ship graveyard coming out of the Omega 4 relay.
Must see the Pillar of Autumn. D:

Parnassus was a place in ancient scilly if my memory serves me correct not 100% though geography isn't my strong point. A lot of the planets on ME are named after Gods/mythology, Places (old and new), scientists. [Off topic a bit but in ME1 theres a planet called amarantine, a bannorn in Dragon age] my favourite system has to be the hanar one with planets called names like Murky water
Think my fav part of ME2 are the personalised ads in the Citadel, maybe a nod to Minority report?

The krogan when they say "I AM KROGAN!" it's a reference to "I AM BEOWULF!".
Congratulations your the first person to actually get the intended/unintended reference, everyone thinks Bioware make only pop culture references but they are more classy than that, everyone thought it was a 300 reference.

The World however is a reference to Star War: Attack of the Clones as the last line if it isn't is the database, then it doesn't exist, which is what the librarian/achivist says to Kenobi when he couldn't find the Clone Factory Homeworld in the astrological charts of the Jedi Temple.

I didnt mean when I read the planet text, I meant when I read the name Parnassus in the forum post
And I dont think thats the referance they intended but thats what the name invoked for me

Miranda freaking out at the elevator for being too slow.
Where does this happen?
her loyalty mission, iirc.
i didnt get it then, but i do now, nice catch dave of canada
This.
Though I always interpreted it differently: As soon as the elevator starts moving you hear the old-skool elevator music playing. I always thought Miranda slammed the terminal to make the music stop, which consequtively stops. I wish I had that option back in ME1.
