"Tupari will bring your ancestors back from the grave!" (In case it isn't obvious, a reference to a botched translation in a Pepsi advertising campaign)
"I knew a man who went two weeks without a Tupari. He got hit by a shuttle!"
"Commander Shepard drinks Tupari. Don't you want to be like Commander Shepard?* *Commander Shepard is referenced under license from Alliance Military Recruiting Services."

I'm surprised this slipped through the cracks of sci-fi nerdom we got here, but I just remembered that the Lazarus Project is most likely a reference to Doctor Who.
I doubt it. More likely it's a biblical reference to Lazurus of Bethany.

This particular line is absolutely hilarious! I also found it interesting because despite Mordin's critisism of Kirahee speeches I've caught him saying "Hold the line" several times when he was in my squad. In other words, Mordin is amazing.Dopetastic2727 wrote...
I thought it was funny when Mordin talked about Kirahee (spelling) from Virmire and said "He loved his speaches, HOLD THE LINE"
What's even cooler (or tragic in fact) is if Mordin dies in the suicide mission when leading one of the team's, his last dying words are:
"Tell them... I held the line."
As small / brief a character that Kirahee was in ME1, I enjoyed Mordin's frequent references to that inspiring Salarian. (I found Kirahee's speech in ME1 inspirational).

There was also a Lazarus Project in Babylon 5. It was a secret Psi Corps project to revive a dead Free Mars rebel with cyberntic implants and telepathic deep-scans to turn him into a sleeper agent.
It seems that any SF secret project to revive dead people is called the Lazarus Project. Not so much a reference as lack of imagination?

So he basicly enters EDI? They got their "romance" =)
Two things I also found funny is that I never released Grunt or woke Legion and they never got taken by the Collectors..weird.
Second thing, during the Joker mission EDI says "My scans show no other life forms" But my fishes and Boo where in my cabin. BAD scan EDI!!
Off topic: I think there should be a alternative ending if you die during the Joker mission.

Garrus: Hospitals not a good place for a fight.
Morlan: Whats is a good place to have a fight?
Garrus: Gardens, Electronic stores, Antique shops, if they're classy.
swear its a nod to a movie but for the love of God I can't remember which one

There is. Shepard returns to an empty ship and the mission falls apart since Cerberus cant get a crew together to re-supply the Normandy with people.

None the less, Lazarus is an incorrect misnomer. The only similarity between Shep and Lazarus is that they both rose from the dead. Shep, however, was not a murdering, thieving, evil-doer who 'saw the light' and was granted redemption via ressurection. Whether your Shep was good or bad at the end of ME1, redemption - which was the whole point of the Lazarus fable, is not part of Shep's continuing story. A much more apt reference would have been made if the name had been 'Phoenix Project'. On the other hand, although it's weak and flimzy, 'Lazarus' does fit quite well with BW's conserted effort to reinforce ME2's Christian sub-theme.babylonfreak wrote...

Aside from all that, Easter Eggs are not peices of clever dialogue or bits of the story setting "that I just noticed". They are entertaining portions of the plot that are minor, often insignificant, and always hidden. Easter Egg = hidden. Get it? In which case, the only semi- 'Egg' found in the ME saga so far is the decryption of the binary code generated by the Lunar VI upon it's termination. It's a shame there aren't more.

While true, I made the Sci-Fi reference as religous things may not click with people from other religion and the Doctor Who is valid as well.

The logo for the quarantined district in Omega in ME2 is the same as the logo on the reactor core in Peak 15 in ME1.

I think my favorite is overhearing a convo at the game merchants, with a fan complaining about "how the new rpgs with their big decisions and furious combat are inferior to old school games where you needed to drink water to stay alive and had tons of inventory management to deal with." I felt as if Bioware was trying to say something.
You completely misquoted what is actually said. And its not a fan but the salesman that says it.

Someone brought up the tripped-out biotic Volus having a lightsaber at his hip. I actually think that's a reference to Venture Bros.'s Number 21 in the episode "Tag Sale - You're It!" Think about it: pudgy, inept guy with delusions of grandeur and a (probably dysfunctional) lightsaber going up against a vastly superior foe.
Or it could just be my overactive imagination.
All volus (even the ones in ME1) have those "lightsabers." I don't get why people only notice it on the biotic god volus.

Mmm... did you read the Bible? Because Lazarus was certainly not an evil-doer nor a murderer, he was a close friend of Jesus. You mistake Lazarus for someone else, i don't see who.

I was doing zaeeds loyalty mission on insanity, 2 mercs and a pyro guy come at me so I ran off round the corner, Garrus followed me but Grunt stayed behind. I wait a few seconds then pop my head round the corner to see all the mercs dead and Grunt just standing there. It reminded me of DA:O
If Grunt had said Enchantment? it would have floored me.

Pauling, Linus
Wallace, Alfred Russel
Watson, Elliot Lovegood Grant or Watson, Andrew James
All of the above were or are famous or well-known scientists.
Nice catch.
