Probing the OUTERMOST planet of Earth's Solar system

You don't have to be coy, as we all know about probing uranus.

You do realise Neptune is Sol's outermost planet.

Yes I do know that Neptune, or if your like me and stubborn Pluto, is the othermost planet. I simply knew what he was intending and responded accordingly.

When you recruit "Archangel", f you stand in that open area between the Gunship and the door to the Eclipse gang boss, you will get shot at.

Also, try to guess where I got this.

Thane is a gun slinger with a philosophical mind and a lethal lung disease. It MUST be a reference to Doc Holliday http://en.wikipedia....ki/Doc_Holliday  Surprised no one seem to have caught this one yet.  But it might have to do with me being grown up on old western movies...  :bandit: (and being close to 40 yo)

I think thats just coincidence. I remember reading some character development notes Bioware made about Thane. Something about needing a stealthy character or something.

One of the options when talking to Samara 'bout Morinth is "Cry me a river"

Captain Enyala says "Will you ever take the time to put on some clothes? I can't believe Cerberus lets you **** around in that outfit" to Miranda. It made me lol.

I was struck by how much one of the spaceships looked like Jango Fett's vehicle.

That would be the Slave I. Where did you see this? I missed it.

Talk to the Security Person when you first arrive at the Citadel with Legion in your party (The one that's doing the screening).  Ask her about the Heavy Security and the dialog kills me.

 "Geth do not intentionally infiltrate"

What makes this even better is that Legion is classed as a Geth Infiltrator.

Topari brings your ancestors back to life.

Pepsi was wondering why their product became very unpopular after one of their ads was run and translated it back into English as 'Pepsi will bring your ancestors back from the dead'.

I lost track of the Topari ads with so many of them. All funny though. I wonder if there's a reference to Coke's similar "Bite the Wax Tadpole" incident... ^_^

Something about EDI's visual interface reminds me of the Knight Industries Two Thousand's Voice Modulator, only blue holograph instead of red LEDs. Interesting reference since they're both AIs installed into vehicles.

I must have completely heard the Krogan mechanic on Tuchanka wrong. I thought he called the truck a "tonka." I must have been wrong or else I'm the only one who buys toy trucks for their nephews/played with tonka trucks as a child.

The heavy trucks on Tuchanka are called Tomkahs. Sounds like a blunt reference to Tonka trucks, though (if intended) probably used to avoid copyright problems.

Since VAs were mentioned, I'm surprised that in 18 pages, nobody mentioned Gatatog Uvenk on Tuchanka. Sounds like a Michael Dorn cameo. It's a shame that he gets more alien warrior roles than Presidential ones. He would've made a great Ambassador to take over Udina's seat.

...on a slight tangent...
Add to ME3 wishlist:
  • Any of the Mythbusters VA cameo-ing as Salarians
  • Guy Fleegman (Galaxy Quest) reference/crewmember
  • Meeting Rahna
  • James Kyson Lee added to VA roster as a new recruitable
  • Installed Shepard VI

Zaeed's Assault Rifle Jesse. This is most likely a Firefly reference, not in name but in context, Zaeed is alot like Jayne, who also has a Assault Rifle whom he name Vera.

This one reminded me of Alan Quatermain, who has an old rifle that he's fond of named Bessy, and who likes to tell stories about his adventures.

In BG 2 (I think) one of the characters says "Faster than Chiktikka Fastpaws" could be a reference to that.

No it's not, as you don't have to drink water in Fallout. At least not in either the second or third.

I just looked up all the videos of the migrant fleet. Didnt see any that looked like Slave 1. They all looked basically the same besides the main ship.

Oh ya! Good catch! That was Aerie wasn't it? Chiktikka Fastpaws was the Raccoon sidekick of the gnomish god Baervan Wildwanderer.

I can't believe I missed that, I was so squeee over the cuteness of Tali's talking to her drone I completely missed it :P

Was the Tupari Vending Machine an easter egg?

I was laughing at the lines it delivered and thought "they put more work into this little bugger than party banter". It's all good though, gave me some good laughs.

I don't have time to look through 19 pages of comments but the easter egg i found funny is when you are on the flotilla and you have just completed the trial, if you talk to Shala'Raan she says:

"The Fleet is always with you."

Which is of course a throwback to Star Wars.

"It's green."

Thank you, BioWare. There might be one in 100,000 that catch that ST giggle.

*Trekkie fistbump* Had to explain to my friends why I was grinning like a loon at that.

Also, when first recruiting Mordin, I reflected that it was probably a good thing that you had only human companions to begin with for the plague zone mission. New game+, and I remembered that I could grab Garrus first and see if anything different happens...annnd he gets sick. "You bring me to the nicest places, Commander."

One of my favorite easter eggs in me2.  Trekkies forever <3 XD

I once knew a guy who went 5 days without a Tupari Sports drink. He got hit by a shuttle.

I'm not so sure about this, but i think once i entered the omega 4 relay and that cutscene pops up, i thought that some of the destroyed ships in the background look like the ones from Halo.

I had to snicker at this one: there's one advertisement on the Citadel that mentions the name of your current LI as part of the copy (How do THEY know about that? Creepy.)

Brought a romanced Jack over to it and it said, "...when you're on a night on the town with ERROR: Citizen ID not found..."

there were water canteens in Fallout 1, but you didn't HAVE to have them to survive. if, for whatever reason, it decided to do an Outdoorsman skill check and you were low on that skill, you'd take some damage. useless, cause then you'd go back to wandering the world map and heal again. at least that's how i remembered it.

ANYWAY.

not sure if they were intentional or not, but it's still odd no one mentioned these (and i did go through the whole thread!):

starting romance with Miranda: she will make you promise her that you won't die (Team America)
talking to Delan on Horizon: you can say "The Alliance doesn't care about the Terminus Systems." (Kayne West's "George Bush doesn't care about black people" remark).
probably a stretch, but accusing the reporter of trying to do another smear job on you could be a reference to the Fox News thing, but i know they already referenced that in Bring Down The Sky, and could just be talking about the last time he ran into the reporter.
Jack will say "I will destroy you!", like many of the human enemies from ME1 (same VA, perhaps?)

What Fox news thing? The smearing thing seemed pretty generalized and could be used for most news organizations I think unless there was a specific event. Easily could be I don't pay much attention to American News.
