I am trying to read through all of this thread and only mention little outtakes I noticed that have not been mentioned before:

If you resolve the romance positively between the Asari and Krogan poet on Illium, they will be seen as you disembark on Tuchanka (my spelling is horrific, my apologies) and have more dialogues where he is trying to continue to use poetry to convince her that this ruined world is not so bad.

If you bring legion with you and revisit Admiral Hackett his dialog about the Geth changes, where he mentions that that because the geth are not really considered the threat they once were is why having that (I can't quite remember, it isn't "bucket of bolts" but similarly scrap metal-esque type reference) with you is not causing more stress on the Citadel.

I think he calls Legion your Geth Trophy or something like that.

Haven't seen this in the thread so I'll add it.

In Thane's recruitment mission Nassana states that she thought Shepard was dead. To which his reply is the same as Sheridan in Babylon 5, "I got over it."

I assume you mean Councilman/Ambassador David Anderson. I would've loved to see Admiral Hackett, but can't remember ever actually seeing him in any Mass Effect. Closest I ever got was the audio on the original Normandy. :P

Boo the space hamster is the best one so far IMO.

Indeed. Made laugh like an idiot, especially when Tali yells "GO FOR THE OPTICS"

And you can go to the Vir system.

Really all this game needs is a green chick, and a reference to Star Control II,as quite a bit has been a reflection of it.

There is actually a planet called Caleston now, which was conspicuously absent from the first game.  I remember there were newbs on the old forums that would ask where to find Caleston, because they saw it in the trailer for the first game.  Of course, there isn't anything to do there.  Maybe ME3?

Check. Illium, near the spaceport. There's a green Asari near the security station. :police:
..unless you were hoping more for a Star Trek style Orion slave girl?

Well, this is the thread for Easter Eggs, so I have kind of a meta-Easter Egg here:

When I, like the total wimp that I am, bought the Prima guide for ME2 (I need my level maps, BioWare, thank you very much), I noticed something a little odd -- all the screenshots in the game were of a blonde Jane Shepard (as in femShep, default face and hairstyle... slight change to the eyes, possibly though).  As opposed to the first game's guide, which had default John Shepard the entire way through.

I didn't mind, seeing as it basically looked to me like my Alyna just got her hair dyed (I really do a minimum of tweaking, I have to admit, like switching to fire-red hair), but it did confuse me just a little.  Then I took a look at the back of the guide and noticed that it was written by Catherine Browne (who I recall doing the Sims3 guide, specifically because she made herself as the demonstration for Create-A-Sim).  So of course she'd have the most screenshots as femShep.

Therum was originally Caleston. It was going to be a whole world with sidequests and stuff like Noveria (if you've seen the old technical demo where Shepard tells Garrus to fall in line, that was on Caleston), but got cut down to just drive here -> pick up Liara. A bunch of the area meshes were reused for Bring Down the Sky instead.

Did anybody else get a little kick out of taking your Shuriken Machine Pistol and Carnifex Hand Cannon and heading to Dakka, or am I getting too obscure?

Disappointed by this thread. Nothing I've read is really an Easter Egg (although I didn't read EVERY post in here).

Someone PM me if there's an actual legit Easter Egg compilation out there...

I don't know if this is an easter egg per se, but if you linger behind Joker's chair for a long time he makes funny comments.

Question: Do his comments change based on certain conditions? I've only found the one in my signature after I added the guns to the ship.

Isn't the comment about asari looking like whoever watches a reference to Red Dwarf and the pleasure G.E.L.F.?

Perhaps this is not the appropriate topic for this, but...In my cabin on the Normandy, there's a picture on my desk that's supposed to be of Kaidan, because he's my ME1 love interest, right? (At least that's what I assumed; it's not like I can zoom into it with my sniper rifle.) Captain Anderson seems to have the exact same picture on his desk. Does this mean he also loves Kaidan?

They are good 40K references, I saw the planet and the first thing I thought of was the Orks ^_^

Well Kaidan apparently says he's doing his own thing... Can it be with Anderson?

Dunno if it's been said, but if I remember right, there was a planet called Imaen somewhere.

Imoen, anyone?

And then there was a planet called Naxell (Nashkel) and Beregale (Beregost) somewhere too.

BioWare sure likes Baldur's Gate... :P

As you enter the citadel from C-sec entrance, before going through the security, there's a hilarious conversation you can listen in on the right.

Im not sure if it counts as an easter egg, but when you first encounter Tali very early in the game and follow the dialogue about why quarians dont trust cerberus, they reference the 2nd mass effect novel when cerberus infiltrated and attacked a ship in the flotilla fleet which I thought was cool to slip in.

Wow. 21 pages, and practically no one knows the difference between an easter egg and a reference.
