Mordin's ME1 reference, that the STGs were better founded so they didn't have to buy their own equipment.

Admiral Xen is voiced by the same VA that voiced Morigan in DA:O (name?)

Claudia Black. The Admiral that wanted war witht he Geth is voiced by the same guy that did Loghain, as well.

Anyone notice that the final boss fight in ME2 greatly resembles the braskas final aeon fight from Final Fantasy X?

The um... reference to that hanar and asari game on the Citadel. Surprised that such an obscure reference to a niche product in the west... laughed at the absurdity of it, then laughed harder at the truth. Of course it would exist.

Not sure if this really counts as an easter egg but when Joker gives EDI full control of the ship. Talk to her about the Reaper IFF Core. She says something to the affect of using alot of her process to examine it. And Joker says "Yeah so if she starts spouting off about being the Vanguard of our destruction, I got shotgun on the first lifeboat out of here"

Sorry for the double post but edit won't work for me right now. If you watch the video screens at the Citadel. There is a trailer for a movie called 'Citadel' which is based off of Shepards actions from the first game.

Grunt Makes a 300 reference on the planet where you have to hide in the shade to keep your shields

The clothes are not from Firefly(wish they were I want Mal's Duster) they are John Crichton's from Farscape. Some one posted a pic a while back comparing the two and they are most certainly from Farscpae. I laughed pretty hard at the Hanar/Asari game, and the "sushi" place on the citadel, seems humans are still obssesed with Japan.

not really a popular culture reference but.. I love probing uranus. Sure, edi only says two things, but that made me laugh for hours.

When you first walk in to see Liara she is telling someone via hologram.

"Have you ever seen an asari commando unit. Few have, and lived," Or something to that effect which is the same thing her Mother said before attacking you in ME1.

I was struck by how much one of the spaceships looked like Jango Fett's vehicle.   And, this is the best ... I would have sworn I saw the "Pillar Of Autumm" in the ship graveyard coming out of the Omega 4 relay.

Don't worry, I saw it too. I laughed at how they put the Pillar of Autumn in the graveyard, it was like sticking it to all the Bungie fanboys. Halo was good, but not great.

There's a million of them. A few I haven't seen listed in this thread:

Refund Guy in the Citadel. Still no luck for him after two years.

The ads for the all-Elcor production of Hamlet ("Deeply reflective: Alas, poor Yorick...")

Mordin's dig at the Spectres ("In STG we didn't have to buy our own weapons" or something like that)

Everything Mordin and Joker say between missions - my favorite is Mordin wondering how "scale-itch" got on board the Normandy when it is only transmitted by sexual contact with varren ("Implications disturbing")

Joker remarking that if EDI starts singing "Daisy Bell", he's done (this is a 2001 reference)

The quarian on Illium complaining about her insensitive human boyfriend, and a turian trying to put the moves on her - if you listen too long she says "Hel-lo, human, private conversation... ugh")

Mordin advising you to have yourself probed for bugs if you sleep with a Cerberus operative (meaning Miranda), and offering to give you a pamphlet on "inventive uses of mass effect fields" - you can accuse him of yanking your chain and he gets mock-huffy about the sacred doctor-patient relationship... really amusing dialogue option there

I can't remember where exactly but at one time I heard a trailer for a Dirty Harry movie with a hanar in the lead. Need to go back and pick up quotes.

The three guys in the Bar at the Bachelor party.

If you listen all the way though... The whole conversation is hilarious but at the end.

Salarian: "I can understand why I might find an Asari attractive, but how can they be attractive to humans too? They look just like Salarians!"

Human: "What? They look exactly like us! I'm... I'm not seeing the Salarian thing at all. At all!"

Turian: "You're both wrong. Asari look just like Blue Turians. Look at the Head-Fringe!"

Human: "Wait. You don't think they're, like mind-controlling us to see them as attractive. Do you?"

I am pretty sure that classifies as an Easter Egg.

You forgot the funny part:

Turian: Shut up! You're ruining Asari for me.

If you take Tali and Garrus onto the Citadel together, on one of the stairways Garrus will talk about how much he misses talking to her on the elevator. It's hilarious (and ends with her saying "I have a shotgun")

Ya, and the game salesman on the citadel selling the ME version of WoW. "It's based on turian mythology"

He does a similar thing if Tali's your LI, funny stuff.

If you are femshep, and going to sleep with Garrus he advises you that Turian semen is highly acidic so be sure to not "Ingest" followed by an awkward cough.

You just reminded me of what the music that plays when the collectors show up reminded me of! The music that plays when the reavers show up in Firefly/Serenity.

I thought the exact same thing.

The Collectors looked a damned hell a lot like the Shadows from Babylon 5 (if you haven't seen this Sci-Fi Series.. do so...now!)
