Yep, and right afterwords she notices you are listening in "Um... private conversation, human!"

Also in that bar, did anybody catch the Asari bartender/matriarch in the background facepalming herself when Conrad is talking to Shepherd?

Blue Sun mercenaries are a reference to the Blue Sun corporation from Firefly. One of your crewmen talks about a New Canton. Jack is sort of a reference to River. When you first meet Zaeed, he says that it's time to be "big god damn heroes."

Mordin's speech pattern seems to be based on William Shatner. It's just been sped up.

One of Jacob's battle cries is "get over here," which could be a reference to Mortal Kombat.

I was struck by how much one of the spaceships looked like Jango Fett's vehicle.   And, this is the best ... I would have sworn I saw the "Pillar Of Autumm" in the ship graveyard coming out of the Omega 4 relay.

Several other people have seen it too. I never played Halo that much so I'm not familliar with the way it looks.

For myself, I believe I spotted an Earth Alliance ship from Babylon 5 among the wreckage as well. It's in the lower left of the screen when the Normandy flys by, right after the occulus drones fly out to attack.

Yea, that was when Conrad was talking about his wife being so supportive that she paid for his shuttle ticket offworld.

In the crew quarters, one of the crew talks about moving to a colony called New Canton, an obvious reference to the planet in Firefly.

"The Hero of Canton, the man they call Jayne..."

Perhaps it has already been posted before, but during a load screen at Nos Astra when you are getting the Justicar, there's a sound effect that sounds suspiciously like the Sierra logo thingy from the grand old PC RPG era.

Might just be my imagination. Anyone else catch that?

I thought that scene was in TNG. I'm pretty sure Data was the one that said it. Unless of course, it was in TOS first. My knowledge there is decidedly lacking.

Of course there's the other possibility that I am way the hell off and you're not even talking about what I'm thinking you're talking about.

You can buy a space hamster on the Citadel. Souvenier store if I remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure it's from the Souvenir store in the Citadel. After you bought it, it gets shipped in your private quarter.

If you go to the bar in the Citadel and keep drinking, you'll eventually have your Shepard black out and wake up in the restroom, with a turian nearby using the urinal, watching you over his shoulder.

If you get the bottle that Dr. Chakwas needs from Omega, and then drink it with her, your Shepard gets drunk and the screen is blurry, with your character running awkwardly.

Get that magazine from the store that sells the ME books and read the description in the Codex. It talks about it being the play-boy style of ME with male and female turians, Quarians, and even volus. It even talks about how there's a less-popular "Krogasm" available to the public. I was laughing so hard.

I don't know if this is an easter egg per se, but if you linger behind Joker's chair for a long time he makes funny comments.

Something similar happens if you hang out near the quarian and turian in the bar on Illium. >.>

Edit: and the post at the top of the page says what it is lol
