if you keep initiating a convo with Grunt, but then just say goodbye instead of saying anything over and over again, he eventually tells you to shut up and punches you.
What? Skeptical dog thinks this is skeptical.

It happens around when you first revive him. He does it right away once you talk to him again after releasing him from the tube.

On Legion's loyalty mission, when you get to the room that stores all the Geth programs and Legion activates a light in his eye to look around.
It instantly reminded me of a line from Ashley in the first game, when talking about the Geth. "They have flashlight heads, sir/ma'am."

Sheperd says that to the Security person there when explaining how he could tell the Asari are not Geth.
"They don't have flashlight heads was my first clue" or something like that.

Well the Fenris mech is basically a robotic Half-Life hound-eye.
hound-eyes only had 3 legs.
but
all three variants of mech's found in the game are named after figures in Nordic Mythology
Fenris: a giant wolf creature
Loki: god of mischief
YMIR: a humongous man said to have fathered the giants

Also, there is a turian being stopped a c-sec customs at the entrance to the Citadel because of a knife he is carrying, which comes from Babylon 5 were Garibaldi is stopping a Drazi from entering because of the ceremonial knife he is carrying.

The Carnifex is a reference to Warhammer 40k. No one tell Games Workshop. We don't want Bioware getting a cease and desist.
Actually, Carnifex is a latin word meaning Executioner.

And the Asari's who are stuck at security because they are on the Geth infiltrator watch list also seems to be poking fun at the Government having a 8 year old on a terrorist watch list.

"You humans are all filth, you, you.... and you!"
Has anyone found the shifty looking cow? Did Bioware end up implenting it after all?
Also the "You Humans are all Racist!" sounds familiar...
Oh and the Krogan that talks about fish must be a reference to ME1 where Wrex comments that's he's hungry and he might try and catch a fish, or something.
And then there are all the emails...

To me it´s closer to a combo between Lord of Flies and Heart of Drakness/Apocalypse Now.Lucy_Glitter wrote...
This isn't really a reference, but the planet where you do Jacob's loyalty mission strongly reminded me of unknown world/Rakatan habitat in KotOR 1. Fallen ships amongst a paradise kinda thing.
Also, the joke EDI makes is (I think) a BSG reference.
Regarding Tali´s drone it´s "Chiktikka" (Baervan´s racoon companion from the Forgotten Realms lore) not "Chikitta" which is basicaly CrapSpanish for "chiquita" (a caring way for femenine to say "little one").

Part of the description is "Vir is largely ignored by the galactic community"; obviously a reference to Vir Coto of B5.

The Widow "Anti-Material Rifle" is spelled wrong. It should be an "Anti-Materiel Rifle." Materiel with an "e" specifically refers to military equipment, and the "Materiel" spelling is used when referring to an AMR.
From wiki: http://en.wikipedia....-materiel_rifle
The guard down in the AI Core guarding Legion, salutes Shepard with his left hand. All of the other NPCs in the game (particularly Jacob) salute with their right, which is pretty much universal in real life.
