After getting to ilium i did a few minor quests before speaking with liara. i agreed to help her hack the system but now i find that i can't access the terminals. i can see them fine and dandy but cannot target them. i've tried going off-world and returning, to no avail. Now i am just kinda pissed that there is no way at all for me to do this quest (and lucky me, only keeping 5 saves, i have no way of going back to a ponit before i encountered it) There are a few people on the gamefaqs forum who have also encountered this but there seems to be no way to fix it. 


If you're heading to Ilium, make sure you go to Liara before -anything- else if you want to be able to do this quest.

Got the same problem. Can't target the terminal right outside Liara's office so I can't finish the quest. The other two terminals worked though.

actually there are 5 terminals, i completed it on my first game. now im on my second which is my ME1 character and im f%^%ing pissed. its not that you have to meet with liara first, i had done a couple side quests before meeting with her the first time i did it. when you access the vital data there is supposed to be a screen that pops up and lets your read it and call her to tell her who to kill. each time you access one of the 5 terminals a new piece gets added. theres no reason for this bug to happen, my only save is after i accepted the quest so my game is permanently bugged. i now have to start my entire play through over. and im sure bioware will never actually fix it.

Interestingly I switched to windowed mode to make my previous post and was looking directly at the terminal I had been unable to interact with for 20 mins of trying today and about the same amount of time last night and when I restored it back to fullscreen I could interact with it for some reason....

Old thread, I know, but I'm having this same problems. I know the first three are in the transportation hub and I hacked them all, but it still says on my journal that I haven't finished hacking them. I'm pretty sure the first three are in the transportation bay but I've ran around all over Illium to make sure and keep trying to talk to liara but she says the same things about finding the terminals. I was really hoping to use this character to continue on in me3 too..

When you hack the 3rd terminal in the Transport Hub then Liara says, "come see me..." The 5 terminals comes after that, BUT you have to talk to Liara after getting the $$ to help you. The choice that triggers the 2nd set of 5 terminals is the upper left choice, can I help you, but it is not obvious.
