Meaning it does look very unclean and full of artifacts. Did you save it as JPG between editing sessions? This keeps recompressing the picture, making it look unlean and artifacted (like those square-banding on light) . If so, only final product should be saved as JPG (preferably with low compression settings), and stuff you keep editing is on uncompressed BMP.
But concept looks excellent. really nice picture.
