Hi,

I have an issue with the sound in the game. Some sound effects are "delayed" and doesn't play when they're supposed to. Instead, they play after 5-6 seconds which is very annoying.
For example; in the intro video, when they burst through the gate, there is no sound, that particular effect plays 5-6 seconds later.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I've also been having the same problem. The dialog itself is fine because it's based on different queuing I suspect since it must lip sync with the characters. However the rest of the sound effects start up after the video and therefore don't finish until all the sound has played through, sometimes cutting off dialog after the video it's self has finished. It's not really important but it is somewhat annoying. It would be nice if you could hear the arrows being fired off when they actually were instead of when it cuts back to the charging Darkspawn. As well as some other pivotal moments where certain key parties are run through and thrown at a rock by a giant thing/ogre.

Exactly.
I also had this problem with Mass Effect.
It's probably my Creative sound card's fault.  <_<

Finally found a post where someone else is having this problem!

Well, I don't know if it is your card's fault: I am using the onboard audio from my ASUS P5Q (The digital out). Hopefully this bump will help things. Have you checked with EA support?

No. No contact with EA's support. It's funny how it's only BioWare-games I encounter this problem with.

EDIT: Saw your post in another thread. Will try and 'declock' my CPU and/or update BIOS!

I'm having this same problem... I don't have a special sound card but I do have NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX graphics card. My sound is the Realtek HD Audio output.

Same problem here guys. I'll be honest....not too sure what it can be. My pc specs are top notch, and yet, the delay still comes.

If I get anywhere with this, I'll let ya'll know.
