Does shredder ammo affect armor on organics?  The description is kinda ambiguous.  If so, disrupter ammo + shredder ammo = win

Armor is armor, regardless of organic or synthetic



so I dont think it does.

It seems to be the weakest ammo type really since it's purely against organics and that's got to be their health bar, not armor/shields.



Armor Piercing is so much more potent.

Shredder doesn't affect armor, but does significant damage to health only enemies like husks and klixen. Great on a shotgun when dealing with husk swarms. Otherwise not so good.

Armor Piercing and Warp are the kings of ammo types. A full assassination infiltrator with the widow can 1 shot almost any enemy in the game, 2 shots on scions. I believe I 3 shot the gunship on ilium using armor piercing rounds.

Seems kinda worthless then. I guess warp ammo is the way to go then. In that case, does disruptor ammo only affect the health and shields of synthetics and not armor?

I have tried Warp Ammo yet. I'm a total fan of Inferno atm but I want to try respeccing and going Max Cryo then backing it up with Warp.

cryo sucks b\\c it only freezes if they're down to health. Low difficulties could make it decent, though.

My biotic picked Warp Ammo as a supplemental, so the guns shoot better. It works out really well for me. It was that or Slam, but I really wanted something non-biotic to boost my guns.

I looked it all over again, and it looks like AP ammo is the best. Warp ammo helps against barriers but not shields..so not as effective I think.
