how do you get him early and whats the drawback? i really wish he was possible to get early on cause he is interesting and wish there was much more of him in the game

Apparently you could do it if you speed through and get him then get his loyalty mission but hold off doing it till you're ready for end-game. Alot of players are posting that doing it that way holds off the Collector attack on your ship.

I was rather upset and had to restart my game from the beginning because of the stupid attack. Got Legion and continued on with the game like normal then get the attack on the ship. Really pisses me off that I won't be able to use the squad member I want the most until I'm ready for the end of the game, was a terrible idea to handle it like that.

thanks i think he is a very good character i hope in ME 3 he is is recuitable(if he is) much earlier in the game

Well the trade off is that with the "continue after end of game" option you can take him on all the side missions, continue to get to know him, etc. So it's not a total wash, but I do agree the timing for that part could have been done better.

play through it again. i managed to keep everyone alive

i forgot that you could get to know him early on but i still really hoped you could get him earlier i find the geth very interesting still amazing game
