I have completed every single mission and assignment that I could find. I have scanned every planet (including the ones from the star charts you buy on Illium) for anomalies and completed those assignements. I am currently level 27 and I am 98 xp from 28. I played through the entire game on normal. Now there is one strange thing I noticed. I have no cluster in the bottom right of the milky way. Are there more star charts that I am missing? Has anyone made it to 30 on their first play-through?
Impossible to get to 30 in first playthrough?

Well, I got to 27 with almost no sidequests, just recruitment and loyalty. Also, you can play after the suicide mission.
As for more systems, I remember buying some star charts from a vendor, Citadel probably, but I don't know wif that added systems, because I haden't paid attention to the mp before I bought them.

I got it, barely. Got it on the last mission.

I just got 30 in my first playthrough. Did everything, every quest, got 100% completed in every star system. Make sure you don't miss out on some hidden ones where EDI will say "anomaly detected". I hit 29 when fighting that Oculus boss, then 30 right after killing the final boss.

Hmm, I don't know what I did wrong. I completed every mission and beat the game. I scanned the entire galaxy for anomalies and completed every assignment I could find. I don't know how I didn't get to 30.
Question, are you guys playing on a higher difficulty other than normal?

I believe its impossible if you don't import an ME1 character. Starting out at level 5 is the equivelent of finishing 4 main missions. Thats pretty huge.

Well that's what did it, I imported my guy from my original ME1 instead of my 60 from NG+ from ME1 cause I didnt like the decisions I made during the NG+. Oh well. I guess I didn't realize it was going to make that big of a difference.

I got to level 30 after the final boss. But I imported a ME1 character and did every side mission I could find including the DLC content.

Got it doing my last anomaly before hitting Tuchunka. Char was a L60 import with the bonus for already having finished ME2 on another char.

Import a lvl 60 ME1 char and play DLC, that should make it "easy"
