You have to have sex with Zevran with a male character to unlock the best armor in the game but it's your loss...

Man, that armor WAS amazing, wasn't it?  My warden never died again! :innocent:

The best thing about the armor Zevran gave me was that it felt just like wearing nothing at all.

Just as mentioned earlier it's Leliana and Zevran who are quite open-minded about their sexuality.

Funny thing is, even though english is not my native language, I never 'accidently' stumbled into any kind of romance with them. Their behaviour and dialogue lines give you a pretty good indicator of what is possible with them.

And none of them is forcing it on you like Alistair (rose and puppy dog act) or Morrigan (cold tent thing).

Maybe THAT's why so many Darkspawn were rolling on the floor laughing...

I know right?!  Plus it was the best looking armor in the game bar none.

Oh gawd Alistair...he is so damn boring and a whiny girlie boy that I haven't been able to force myself to sleep with him with one of my characters even for the achievement.

Maybe Dog? or the AchDemon :P

Anyway, keeping this ontopic... I found Morrigan to be much more... persistent, let's say, than Zevran when it came (lol) to romancing options, playing as a Male PC..

The dialogue with Zevran was a blast, though, and really made me laugh..

"now that we have mentioned rope in this context...."

cheers

Hell, it was easy for me to accidentally turn the Leliana romance on with my male character and it annoyed me a lot. I think I'm just being nice to her, next thing I know, Zevran's telling me I have to choose, and I've lost approval with the Space Cadet bard for staying with the only character I was trying to romance in the first place. Same deal with Morrigan -- all I am is nice to her and give her the gifts marked for her, and then Wynne's lecturing me, no one believes me when I say there's nothing between us, and then lather, rinse, repeat with the choices business. And no, I didn't sleep with either of the girls, just with my stabby elf.

I'm glad that were given some variety as to romance options in this game, but I wish the writers had put up as many warning signs for the male-female romance paths as they did with the gay one.

Wow, you were just giving her gifts and being courteous and she dared to fall in love with you...

It's so immersion breaking.

I do give my women friends gifts, and I am usually courteous. I hate being rude for no reason. If that's all it took, I'd be in serious trouble, and so would many straight/gay/bi women. Come on, the dialogue subjects that turn the Leliana romance on are normal for women of all sexual orientations.

Really? I figured if a bisexual woman says she really enjoys the company of women, saying you'd "giggle, maybe look coy" is going to tell her you're available. Or is it another dialogue path you're talking about?

@ Emerald Melios

Of course it's another dialogue path. I would be very dense indeed if I couldn't recognize the very obvious lines that fire the romance flag in the scripts. I can also tell the difference between being polite and courteus, and flirting.

I do resent being quoted so far out of context. If you had bothered to read the whole thread, you would have realized that we were talking about the glitch that sometimes occurs with the Leliana romance.

I will not repeat the whole of the thread here, but when quoting, I would appreciate not to be pulled so far out of context that it appears I'm either: stupid, homophobic, dense, etc.

Am I actually seeing this? Emerald Melios necromances a thread from two months ago, and Sabriana responds within hours?

Yes, Alan. Your eyes are fine, no worries.

If she hadn't involved me by pulling me utterly out of context, I'd have ignored it. However, I will not sit by and just let that be, necromancy be damned.

Upon closer examination, your eyes seem to fail you a bit. There is a six month old thread, right here on the front page that fell victim to necromancy. You need to hurry and scold those as well. Two month - bad. Six month - worse.
