The thing that bugs me most about all of this is that most German gaming media picked up the story and reviews mentioned the download option as a bonus.



So, EA/Bioware profitted from this big time. I think you owe us an explanation now, there's no way that EA in Germany wasn't aware of this.

I've ordered the UK version now in addition to the german copy, which i can't return because of the cerberus thing. So if it was part of sales strategy ... it worked out just fine. Why sell one copy, if you can sell two, right?

An official statement on the issue is really needed.

I bought the overly expensive German CE version of ME2 because I trusted in the mod's statement that the English dub will be available as well.

Now I am one step away from returning it in order to get the standard issue UK version.



The English dub is fantastic! I cannot play the game without it!

i agree, at least the german marketing department must have picked that up, but who knows.
Lets wait for the weekend to pass and everyone to return to their offices. Hopefully we'll get a statement then...

The german speakers (Shepard's most) are an epic fail on the whole way throught the game.

When the DLC wasn't available on launch day I just decided not to buy the game and ordered mine from England. Problem solved.



Still quite annoying for everyone else I guess. I didn't see any official info on this before launch, I just assumed there would be a DLC since that would be a very logical and customer-friendly decision.

chill, guys, someone at Bioware - namely Mr. Houston - has seen this thread and it's the weekend. Everyone is a little on edge, but hopefully they'll discuss it on Monday and come up with something...

Fine. If they release it, good. But it would've been nice to know such things in advance, with a release date attached to it. On the day I cancelled my Pre-Order at GameStop I still didn't know if such a DLC would be released at all.

Hi Guys, I second that. I am eagerly waiting for the english dub. At First i ordered the UK-Version. But after i read the info about the english language pack and that it will be available as download, i canceled the order.

And now??? I will never rely on such a information again. Hopefully, Mr. Houston can clearify the issue once and for all.
