Pandemic is not independant, it is dead. Thanks to EA.

I think its Pandemics own fault, first the launch the crappy Mercs 2 with bugs all over the place and after that the Saboteur, wich is actually Mercs 2 in WWII

So the first major gaming website in Germany changed their review to reflect the now defunct voice package download. It doesn't affect their score, but I expect at least some websites or print magazines to actually lower the review score. It's a much needed warning to EA and publishers in general to refrain from making false claims ahead of release in order to increase national sales much to the disadvantage of loyal customers.

I hope this is the first article of many....
I've prepared my ME2-CE now for returning and I'm still not sure....
Because if I return it and next week they release it, I'll only hate EA more...

"EA Germany told us that they are still discussing this topic and no decisions were made IF and when a language DLC will be released"

I think its really time for an official comment and if its just to cool down the situation.
If you cant make a clear statement, at least something like "we are discussing the problem and we will inform you soon" would be appreciated.

After investigating potential solutions, we have determined that while this issue does affect a small portion of SDTV owners, we are unable to resolve it for Mass Effect 2 through a title update. However, we have taken note of this issue and will take it into consideration as we plan future games in the Mass Effect franchise.

This is what Bioware says about their ****ing little ingame text. "small portion of SDTV owners"
So, is here still someone who believes, that they give a **** about the small portion of not native English-speaking countries?

A colleage of mine just told me, that in Dante's Inferno (yes, correct, published by EA) you have to gahter souls for buying stuff.
BUT,... you can only gather a limited number of souls, so you can't buy everything in the game, ECXEPT,... you buy a soul-expansion on the market-place for Microsoft-Points, that EA supplies you with!!
Does EA have a special ripp-off-department???
BTW, I have no confirmed sources of this except, my colleague, so it's still a roumor, but hey,... what's more popular in this forum than rumours???

Maybe the English dub will be in on a goty or classic edition, so someone might buy it later for a second time....

the difference here is: for larger text they would have to alter the game. The English dub is ready and there is a system to deliver DLC...Nagiloum wrote...

If the english dub would be made downloadable from Xbox marketplace for Europe, I would create a small altar in honour of Bioware. (A second one that is.

I'm with you! I myself am from Poland but have the same problem. Polish dubbing sucks compared to the english.

An Altar is what you need, because there is no way in hell they gonna release the audiofiles.

Thing is, I would be willing to pay for those files. (Yeah, that's how much I would like to have them.) A reasonable price of course. 400 Microsoft points? 600?
