She kind of looks like a grey girl with cancer (no hair at all, completely bald, not buzzcut)
Her model isnt fully detailed, but its not a placeholder.

I'm not cheering for or defending such an ending, just saying it will happen, and I will hate it:)

Her face couldn't have been bad, I didn't see Shep's face cringe.
Female shepard is capable of loving both Garrus and Thane. I don't think either Shepard has discriminating tastes.

Lose the second set of nostrils, and imo this is pretty good.Aedan_Cousland wrote...
I think this is the best fan art I've seen on what Tali might look like under the mask:

The concept art of her on that page is based on the 'face' behind the mask in game. The problem with that is that the face is just a placeholder, and you can't really draw many conclusions from it beyond the fact that Quarians have two eyes, a nose, and a mouth like humans or Asari, and they are located in the same place on their faces. The concept art (like most fan art out there) also gives Tali eyes that are similar to humans, although Quarian eyes can be seen through the mask quite clearly, and they appear all white or even luminous.
The grey skin is certainly a possibly, though. The Quarians we've seen so far all have colored visors so their skin color is difficult to make out. It always appears the color of their visor.

Yeah, I didn't understand the second set of nostrils either. Otherwise I think it is a good stab at what they might (or should) look like.

I still think a Quarian would have skin covered face (Tali was really big of felling your skin against hers) but maybe they have bone ridges, like denser bones with structues that can be seen under the skin. It could be different for each person, so it would form markings of sort.
Anyways, Shepard's reaction was pleased. That was sure.

As soon as I found out she was a romance, I though, "They're going to find a way to block out her face."
Why would they ruin the secrecy of the quarians in the second game?

She'd better do if Bioware decides to show us her face. I didn't wait years to finally see her face just to find out she's ugly like hell or some kind of reptile or insectNastrod wrote...
Well since when Tali took off the mask Shep did not scream " OMG burn it with fire! Be gone foul witch!" I think Tali will look just fine.

You know, I was wondering. The Geth have similar features to a quarian, like three fingers with aposable thumbs, and claw-like three-toed feet. Also their arms have a very muscular, but yet fiberus, skin texture to them; the best I can describle it is like a ball of yarn.
Could that be what a quarian arm or skin looks like underneath? If so, ew.
This makes me wonder, also Grunt says in one of his conversations that Humans, Asari, Salarians are "all squishy. Quarians ... not so much" - or words to that effect.

I kinda feel BioWare thought about this a bit. It would compound the tragedy of their existence even more, if they were beautiful and graceful people, trapped in their envirosuits.
Have you ever heard anyone comment on the beauty of Volus art?

I took it he meant their envirosuits. In context, he was just telling Sheppard before that how human spine is just 2 centimetres from the skin and are easily killed by bare hands.
