You know what? After looking at some of the in-game shots of her face with the mask one, I'm beginning to think that she may look a little like Alicia Keys. Maybe it's just me.

Indeed.
It's not that much of a big deal. you can tell even with the mask on that her face is essentially human.

Cheated!!
Was heading in a different direction until I find out Tali is an option, and figure it was the only way to see her face, then nothing!! Calmed down until a half hour later when she dies on me during the mission!!! Sad poet justice...hehe

I can't believe no one saw this yet. apparently, someone hacked the PC version and found a file called face_tali.txt hiiden somewhere in the texture files. it's a bit buggy but someone recorded it.

Well, let´s hope it will be awsome, because it´s going to have Mass Effect on choice of ending (if there will be ending in which you can stay with someone)

I laughed too... Maybe I'm just too tired.
More on topic however. I didn't expect to see her face but I didn't freak out about it. Either I don't excite easily (come to think of it, I don't. I've had dozens of near-death situations and it hasn't phased me) or somebody is overly giddy about the bucket-headed alien.
Ok that was a little harsh. I think it's best I don't know what she looks like. Currently I think she's the most likeable love interest for male Shepard characters. Ashley is ok but she's too prejudice towards others not to mention that she tried too hard to seem like a hardcore soldier. Liara is socially inept to the point that it's annoying. Kelly Chambers just seems like she'd jump anything with a pulse. Jack has too much baggage. Miranda is ok... Just a little too severe.
There's my rant. Off topic. Whatever. You'll probably see what Tali looks like in the next game. Maybe she'll look like Darth Vader.
