[Lazureus Falcone]

Greetings, I finished my first playthrough, loved it immensly by the way, and wanted to start playing new-game plus with the same character, as the game says I can as I finished the first playthrough.

Problem is that my Xbox 360 crashes as soon as the Lazarus Project video ends. it just freezes on the loading screan that shows the scan of your skull on the right hand portion of the screen.

I hope you can rectify this problem quickly as I wish to enjoy many awesome parts of this game with my character intact.

First playthrough time 40hr and 35min. Lv 29.

[EDIT] Nevermind.. 3rd time is the charm..  for some reason it took three tries to get past that loading screen.

[EDIT #2] Seems to be happening to other people who creat ME2 characters from scratch as well, but not importing ME1 characters.

I'm not exactly keen on rewatching the opening again, too. Especially since you can't skip any of the cutscenes even though a hint screen told me otherwise

Same problem here.
Can't start a 2nd playthrough with my ME2 character.
It freezes at the spot mentioned int he above post every time.
This is the only problem I've had running this game.
In a future update, you should allow second playthrough characters to skip the beginning scenes as they get annoying with this problem.
If it matters, I am using Disc 1.

Edit: 3rd time was the charm for me too.

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one with this annoying problem.

For some reason the Xbox just doesn't like that menu it appears .

i have the  same problem only i dont get a 3times charm load

i have tried this freaking thing like 6 times already and it keeps freezing im getting really annoied sinds you have to watch the same damn movie over and over

ps i have had many bugs and problems  i just think that your test team dropped the ball. hope for a quick update to fix these things

No problems with starting a new character however when importing my ME 2 Character to a second play-through I get stuck when the Lazarus Project screen starts then the skull shows up and instead of the heartbeat and organs appearing the game freezes. Have tried 5 times and no luck...gotta have faith I guess but it is getting to be a downer for trying to go back with my skilled up Shepard.

Bumping as the issue seems to be an increasingly annoying problem as more people try to start new-game+ characters.

Same thing happened to me.

Right before my fifth attempt, in a last ditch effort, I cleared the cache and removed the installation from my 360 HDD. That seemed to fix the problem for me.

Ive only had one problem while playing, and it was a console Lock up on a load screen, only happened once during a ship elevator load screen, but hasn't happened again so far.

no problem making new game plus but now i cant start a new game with a new char freezes up every time so what i can only have one char at a time here??

I think it's just a random glitch. When I tried to make my first non-imported charater it froze at the skull loading screen. I reloaded it and managed to get by it the second time. I have made two other new characters and the glitch has not hit again.

 Same thing happens to me. I hope Bioware comes out with a patch for this.

Having the same issue. Finished Mass Effect 2 with a Level 29 Soldier and I'm unable to import that character into a New Game +. Sucks too cause I really wanted to Renegade the **** out of everything.



This, coupled with the Dragon Age issues, has made me a sad panda.

Thank GOD. I uninstalled the game from my hard drive and it works now! I suggest trying that, but, if that doesn't work, just keep doing it over and over again.

Beat the game getting the "bad" ending intentionally, don't see "New Game +" as an option. Don't see an option to import a ME2 character after selecting "New Game". Is there something I'm missing or does it require the "best" ending?

I think you need to at least survive the impossible mission to get new-game+

That's what I figured, thanks. Does anyone know if you have the option to change classes on a new game+ during the lazarus segment?

On this same note, while I understand it's somewhat unreasonable to have Paragon/Renegade carry over, it's somewhat frustrating to start with complete tabula rosa in NG+, especially since importing ME1 data lets you have at least a bit of that character's tendency.



Is this intentional?
