What is next for bioware?

What is next for them? Would you like them to create another original game if so what theme would you base it on? or would you want them to continue a saga from their older games like, Jade Empire?
After seeing, Red Dead Redemption, I wouldn't mind if bioware made a western RPG, but I don't think i've seen a horror RPG game before it could be interesting.

About that, didn't bioware say something similar regarding DA?
Other than that I think we'll see a Jade Empire 2 since bioware said that JE is a favourite among them fellas in bioware.

From Mass Effect 1 to 2, they clearly know more than one note than just banging the same thing out over and over again.

A completely medieval world without any fantasy elements would also be great, based on medieval europe and kind of a what if scenario. Start the game with a change in history and work from there.
Like for example the Normans losing at Hastings, the Templars not getting prosecuted, Salladin getting assasinated, The Viking nations refusing christianity, etc.
And a medieval world would also allow a small group of mercenaries/adventurers to take on tasks. It simply wont be slaying monsters but they could hunt down bandits, protect merchants, sneak into a castle, escort pilgrims, etc.

Other than that, an RPG with a toolset, multiplayer, and GM client ala Neverwinter Nights. Preferably a game with considerably greater complexity and options than Dragon Age's three classes plus specializations set-up however.

Other than the all but given games set in Mass Effect or Dragon Age's universe... I would like to see a sequel to Jade Empire. I would also like to see a game in modern times. Not necessarily in the vein of Alpha Protocol though. I was thinking more along the lines of urban fantasy. Something like Bloodlines or the Megaten games in terms of setting style.

Would urban fantasy be something like shadowrun or is shadowrun considered, Cyberpunk?

I would consider Shadowrun cyberpunk, yes. I wouldn't mind a BioWare cyberpunk game either, come to think of it. Steampunk could work too.
It's a rather widely defined genre, but the Urban Fantasy I was thinking of is the most common type: a story set in modern times that primarily takes place in a city and may or may not include supernatural elements.

"Kult: Beyond the Veil is a 304 page Rorschach blot, a game so cryptic
and so vast that it can be almost anything you want it to be. Like
Nietzche’s Abyss, when you stare into the book, you get the
uncomfortable feeling it’s staring back into you. If you want Kult to
be a game about paranormal investigators struggling against
supernatural forces, it is. If you want it to be about cultists and
sorcerers delving into dark secrets to turn themselves into gods, the
game is happy to oblige. Or how about a game in which the players are
monsters struggling against their own dark urges? Kult will be that
too. It will be traditional Gothic, it will be brooding psychological
horror, it will be post-modern Clive Barker hideousness. Like
Mephistopheles it will give you anything you want just so long as you
turn yourself over to it. “Play me,” it whispers. “I dare you."
I doubt something like that would be made but it would be cool.

IT could be set from 1788-89 to 1794, at the thermidorian reaction. Of course, the game could offer alternate endings. Like helping Robespierre instead of siding with the reaction.

If there is ever going to be star wars game based on lightsaber duels, characters like Revan, Bastilla and Malak need to be a part of it.
And many Jade Empire characters seem very suitable for a guest appearance in a future Soul Calibur title. Death's Hand, Monk Zeng, Sun-Li, Black Wirlwind and many others would fit in perfectly. Would also be quite original to have western made eastern characters in an eastern game.
Seeing how Bioware is connected to EA now, EA does not need to be the only one taking advantage of this.
Through EA Bioware could have acces to the licenses EA holds such as Lord of the Rings and Dungeon Keeper.
Surely they would be able to do something good with that?

Well Bioware could very well make a Jade Empire 2, but now that it was mentioned a steampunk franchise from bioware would be pretty cool. I definitely want them to work on their own IPs.
@monkeychimptits
while the SG1 game from way back (didn't even remember it) was cancelled, there is a game being released in february (though at least graphically it looks disappointing). and then we are still all waiting for the MMO to be finished

I hope they announce something new, like new franchise. Not saying their current franchises are bad, but it would be nice to see something else than the same "gather group of weirdos, do some sidequests, save the world" in GenericFantasySettingTM. Action RPG game mechanics would be welcome though.
That said, I would not mind turn based NDS/XBLA/PSN Mass Effect spin-off.
