Thanks Kepha for those links, it made the DLC come up - manually downloading the DLC itself now, since the blasted thing seems always to fail for me ingame. Bioware, an download manager for ingame stuff please, instead of having to notice the updates go back from 96% to zilch after a few hours of downloading? (50-100kbps Inet line - *sighs*)

Edit: one question though...
How can it be that the direct link is like 126 MB, and ingame it tells us that it is 350 MB? :s

Start DAO, if you are logged in, log out. Exit the game.

Try to delete the Manifest.xml file located in folder BioWare/Dragon Age/Settings

Stop and restart the DAOUpdate service. When service is back up running again, start the game. Login and see if that helped. It did for me.

Got tired of refreshing/restarting/waiting/etc.  This worked first time.

It sure does. Downloading now.

Try this guys:

Start -> Run -> services.msc

Check service:

I tried deleting the manifest stopping and starting the updater through services and those didnt work for me. What did work was I went to where I installed dragon age, which for me is on my G drive for games and then to bin_ship and then ran the daorigins.exe This bypassed the launcher screen and went right into he game and DTO was there. Also though it said content to be downloaded was all of the other DLC I had, but it also said they were installed at the same time. So I just had them install again to be safe. Again the file path is where you install, so for me it was (G:\\Dragon Age - Origins\\bin_ship\\daorgins.exe) I have my hd partitioned so I always custom install games to that drive specifically for all my games.

I don't know how EA/BioWare have the servers set up but there could be a combination of propagation along with server load balancing that is causing some people to not yet see the content. I know that people on the East Coast of the US said they couldn't see it when I also know people that did. RtO has been released and it will be available. Be patient.

Well, I finished RTO, and I really enjoyed it. Well worth the wait, and RTO really balances out the game and the campaign. Good work Bioware.

This did the trick for me, now the dlc shows, thanks

After trying each and every possible fix mentioned in this thread, I gave up and fell back on the ol' last resort: reinstalling the game. RTO showed up and was duly purchased and installed. Now, I'm going to bed so I can treat myself with it tomorrow when I get home from work!

I have a feeling Kepha's DL links would have worked fine, but I was using DAModder which modified some existing updater files. The built-in updater kept crashing every time I tried to use it for any .dazips, not just RTO, I figure it was DAModder's fault. Had to reinstall to get the original versions of the updater files back. A cautionary tale!

The 1.20 patch stops at line 36...if anyone has already found a solution for this and I missed it on all these pages, forgive me...but is there a solution?

For those that are still waiting try manually downloading and installing it. Back when it was not released that would allow it to show up as available for some people (a little illicit at the time), but since its released now I think it should be okay.

There are two things that might need to be downloaded:
Return to Ostagar Offer RtO's equivalent of Levi. I think this is what is supposed to automatically download to make it show up as available. Possible just downloading and installing this will make it work.

Return To Ostager Main The actual DLC. You can't use it until its actually bought with points, but this might make it show up as available so you can actually buy it.

Right click on the links and save them to your harddrive. Then find the daupdater.exe application and open it. Drag the .dazip files onto the open application and then install them.

This worked for me. Thank you. Downloading now :)

At first, I didn't find any then I exited and ran the game again. I noticed on the download progress tab that It was downloading something, once it finished then RTO had shown up suddenly.

Recently, I've just played ,and already finished it, It 's good enough for me.

It's 3:39 am in East Tennessee, and RtO does not show up in my available content. I've started, restarted, logged out and logged in, all to no avail.

Downloaded, installed, and working in the Eastern U.S. Been a long day otherwise, so I'm going to play later. I like the new npc interactions that have occurred so far.

I followed your method, Kepha, and it did show up on the list, but of course it was unauthorized. I have the points to buy it. How do I let them know I want to pay for the download I've already done? Thanks a lot
