I am from Spain and I dont still see on the Download section anything about Return to Ostagar. Any clue?

It has not yet been released on PC and the PS3. It is currently only avalable on the Xbox360 at the current date.

Nope I don't. But I did log out and log in again, didn't change anything. I noticed that it sometimes says I have timed out when trying to reach server, maybe that's it. Still wierd though since everything seems to work fine with internet otherwise. Maye it's because I've locked autodowloading offers or something.

maybe you should give it a rest then it's not an online game so you wont miss anything it will wait for you ^^ Go and have fun with ME2 Instead and Gl with the problem i'm sure it will fix in time.

I was gonna play ME2 now, but I would like to make sure RtO is working for me first. Is there some way to remove RtO and then download it again?

you can reinstall the game but make sure you go and Copy your Save files! Also other then that i guess you can look on the Repair tools. However Reinstalling is the best choice takes short time and if you have copyed the save files no problems will happen to the data. This can be found in documents, bioware,dragon age folder.

Played it through. It's an okay dlc. Worth the money imo! Already longing for the larger expansion =)

I wont reveal any spoilers.



But here's my verdict on the DLC.



Pros: I love the new items that are in it.

Cons: Sadly its not long enough. It is longer then wardens keep. But I think the Return to ostagar should have been twice as long. Purely from a value prospective. It could of had a few more side quests thrown in. Maybe a bit more travelling to one or two more areas on the map.



Overal It's not bad. I just wish it was a twice as long. I think i will avoid DLC in future, unless they make the game play hours longer.

An embarrassingly noobish question but do I have to activate one of my pre-Archdemon saves to play the DLC? I opened the post-coronation save with the message "You can still access downloadable content" but when I go to the map it doesn't let me go beyond the Denerim map to the world map so I can't play it. Help?

Yes it has..many of us downloaded it last night..we got official confirmation from Victor.   Only Ps3 users left out currently.

You are posting in the PC release thread, check the blue bioware button outside this particular thread for Victor's confirmation.

Look for your epilogue save..load that.  Supposed to work with epilogue saves if you have already finished the game.

i just played RTO and i must say that for a DLC it was worth the money but there is just one thing i think they made a serius mistake about and that is cailens wep u get a 1handed sword and shield but every time u saw cailen he was walking around and fighting with a big 2handed sword how come they turned it into a 1handed and shield?

I pretty much think they've been working overtime to get everything fixed for awhile now.  Plus don't forget there are many more things they're doing.. lots lined up from what I hear.   They are already working on ME3

i was haivng problems with it showing up for the pc until i went and bought points and also cleared the download cache (unclear which of these actually cured the problem).

Not necessarily. As I posted above, the first option only provides me with an "unauthorized" version. I even attempted to buy it again to no avail. The game has been restarted, the computer has been restarted, but nothing has changed my outcome. I have not tried the second option, but I don't really feel like being a further glutton for punishment. The only option I have left is BioWare support, and if any others have a similar issue using the first process; I will report back once I learn a fix.

I just tried this out: so I succesfully downloaded trough the in-game menu but it failed to extract. I went to the data folder and tried to install RtO manually by using DAupdater.exe (no need to download from the link above if you have downloaded it in-game). It failed. I changed my regional settings, restarted the comp and tried it again and it installed succesfully through DAupdater.exe. The only thing you have to install through daupdater is DAO_PRC_CP_1_1.1.dazip. ne need for the OCP. but before all this check your registered game promotions page in the social site as if it is not correctly registered you will be unauthorized
