I did what Kepha said and it appeared on my DLC and i bought it with bioware points but it still didn't let me use it it keeps telling me to buy it again and i got more points and it said it cant do that right now also its not in my downloaded content anymore i redownloaded the game and still the same thing. it also appears on my Registered Game promotions if that matters.
this is somewhat of a dissapointment since i have been looking forward to this for a while and its a little frustraiting

Um, will reinstalling the game delete all your saves? I have the error 36 problem I have and in one of the forums it says that I should try reinstalling the game to fix it.

I whipped out my BioPoints and BioBought it. It was good! It was nice to go back to DAO for a quick vacation.

no reinstalling doesn't delete your saves your saved games are in your bioware folder in your documents and when you uninstall DAO it just deletes the content (i backed up my characters file in Name/My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Characters)

i run firefox and winrar but i dont unzip the file i go to Open containing folder and drop the .zip file in there

I tried the afore-mentioned (above) beta diagnostic, BTW, but it wants me to have .NET 2.0 SP1 installed, and VIsta doesn't like that. Any idea what that's about? Might be a compatibility issue.



What do you mean Open containing folder? Do you mean in the updater? It doesn't see the files I've grabbed.

well..for me its a no go..Downloaded but cant run.says i need newest patch,1.02. BUT when i try to get latest patch fromEA all i can get is 1.01b...what gives????

And what about my dlc's? I won't have to redownload them would I? Or worse, repurchase?

DLC is saved in the My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Addins folder. If you just save the whole My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age folder when you reinstall than you'll probably be good to go.

I live in Canada and I don't have it. At least it won't show up. I'm updating steam right now to see if that helps if not someone tell me why it won't show up!!!! MUST PLAY IT!!!!!

Uk same here; downloaded 1.02 patch. Simply doesn't appear as an option to purchase on DLC screen. Can someone fix this please?

just had to wait for along time for it to come up on mine... i thought it would be out by xmas. was i wrong.... i really hope they do more dlc though, i do love shale... for having no memory he does have alot of wit and crude humor.



like was said. if you have issues with dlc not appearing let it set at the dlc screen for a good while and it will show up.. i think the refresh icon is bugged, really.

I'm finding it extremely likely that BioWare are much more focused on getting Awakening out than they are on sorting out the Return to Ostagar issues. Maybe we need to change our tune a little.

Hey, BioWare. Guess what. I have money. Money. You like money, don't you? Well, how am I supposed to give you any if your DLC, supposedly released two days ago, won't show up in my game? Money is nice. It's shiny and can be used for all sorts of things... investments, buying stuff, or just sitting on.  Surely you'd like me to give you some.

EDIT:  Sorry, I spoke too soon.  After leaving my game open for a while and coming back to it, everything seems to be in order.

What BS. I have patch 1.02 and the DLC still doesn't show up. Refuse to "wait a long time" in downloadable content screen so I can pay Bioware to allow me to troubleshoot their mess. Quickly losing all faith in their ability to deliver DLC.

Stop and restart the DAOUpdate service. When service is back up running again, start the game. Login and see if that helped. It did for me.
