Or simply they expect people to have completed the final battle and that you will ultimately use the latest save for your character to access Awakening. I have already spent some time after story line completion sorting out my characters making sure I have all the gear I stashed in the storage chest on my character after completing RTO and that I set the save ready for transfer.

I loved the way the DLC was accessible after the Final battle by simply loading the last auto save the game makes so, for characters that didn't have the opportunity to play RTO due to release post completion.

So... I understood that you loaded your post campaign epilogue save, played RTO, and made a new manual save which include also RTO... am I right?

That's what I did. I have two complete saves for my two characters which was basically loading my post campaign epilogue save and playing RTO, sorting my characters out a little and then saving again ready for transfer!

Exactly Load the epilogue save that is automatic saved after exiting the doors, it loads you in a clearing, you leave the clearing and can access the party camp and any DLC you have not played through as well as Solider's Peak after it was completed and Honnleath. If you used the storage chest in Solider's Peak you can reclaim the items if you didn't before the final battle and play through any DLC you have not yet done including RTO.

Just as a note one of my characters did not have the meteor rock random encounter so I travelled between Soliders Peak and Honnleath until I did post Epilogue.

It would seem stupid if the game didn't allow you to access DLC that was released after such a long period where we could have 6 or more completed characters and would require us to make new ones to access it.

Right !!! I also did it... Now.. Can you please load the save you did after playing RTO campaign? Ok.. Now.. tell me...

Open the diary and look at the dialogues history... You will see you have only  the dialogue you did before fight the Archdemon and after these, you will see only the dialogues you did in RTO.. Well.. tell me...

********************* ATTENTION !!!! GREAT SPOILERS IF YOU CONTINUE TO READ !!!!! *************************

Where are the dialogue lines after the incoronation??? These dialogues are really important because here you decided:

1) If you want to rebuild the Gray Wardens or if you decide to go away to travel the world
2) The desire you ask to the king (or queen) as reward
3) The dialogue lines with your companions, expecially with your beloved where you can decide if you will bring him/her with you or not...

These dialogues are really important to determine how your DAO game finish.. For example I decided to travel and obviously took with me Leliana when she asked if I wanted her with me...and as I played as human noble I asked they give back to me my family's properties

These line dialogue does not appear in this "AFTER RTO" saved game, and not even appear into "Epilogue Save" so I assume these decisions you took are not included into those saves... and I really don't know if this thing can influence in a minimum way the xpansion !! The only saves where I have those dialogues lines in Dialogue History are the Manual Game I did after the incoronation and after talking with my companions.... But from that game I am not able to play RTO because you can play it only from the "Epilogue Game".

So for Awakening we have this choice...

1) load post RTO Games without those dialogues lines???
2) load post incoronation game with all my DAO dialogues lines but without RTO???

I can't seem to get it, when I click the download on site it just goes to buying points, but I all ready have enough points to buy it so don't know what's going on. And it isn't showing up in Downloadable content on the game either.

The conversation History only logs a small number of conversations the main story line choices you made are logged on the save not just in the conversation log I would not  worry if I was you you can test by loading the standard one then RTO completion one and see if there is anything different, I doubt there will be.

NUBSAUCE59;I have points coming out of my yinyan and I had the same problem a few days ago!!!! so I decided to buy points anyway to eliminate the aggravations that might have insu. Our points could be lost in a maze of accounts (Bioware and EA) or check your firewall; that might have been the reason that your points have been deleted.

Well.. I'm 110 % sure that PostCampaign save is before last dialogues...

**** WATCH OUT !!! I'M GOING TO SPOILER AGAIN *****

I can't believe that if you talk with Leliana/Zevran and you say them you want to travel alone and you are no more interested to have him/her with you, make a manual save game and load it you will have the same reactions than loading the PostCampaign save game which is BEFORE you can say this to her/him....
Or they assumed that NOBODY would break the romance 1 second before you end the game.... but if they put that dialogue choices there will be a reason...

The problem is not RTO.. forget for a moment RTO because, If you want, you can load an earlier save, play it and then play the last part of the adventure.. the question is..

Are Post Campaing Save Game and Manual Save Game you make 1 second before you end the game different also in a minimal way ???

If not so, why, for example they gave you the opportunity to break the romance before you finish the game???
I think it would be nice if some devs could explain this to me....

The download for the pc rto doesn't seem available to me yet but really i'm not surprised as this sites been a train wreck since its conception.

And as before it shows up mysteriously after i run the game multiple times o_0 there should be some manual way to refresh it to check for dlc something similar to the point refresher.

Overall this is an issue with how Awakening is going to deal with the Post Campaign save, and whether a save you make at the end of the Coronation Scene would import any differently.  This discussion is probably better served being had in the brand new Awakening Forum.  Its sort of buried here in the Return to Ostagar thread, and unlikely to get any real answers.  (And most of us can only guess, as the expansion is not out yet.)

RTO is involved because you can play it only with Post Campaigne Save.. It means that if there are differences between the Post Campaign save, and whether a save you make at the end of the Coronation Scene you have to choose if lose improvement you did with RTO or lose the choises you made after the coronation. But if you think that this question must be posted into awakening forum I will do it...

OK COPIED THESE POSTS UNDER AWAKENING FORUM.. PLEASE DON'T ANSWER ME ANYMORE IN THIS THREAD...
