First download the patch from http://social.biowar...page/da-patches even if you did so before.
Once finished, completely quit dragon age and then install the patch. It should run itself and install by itself. Then restart the game.
The first time I tried to do it, the patch did not install. I suggest you try the above again to see if it works - it just did for me.

And to prevent this from happening again so that we don't have to be here to complain about it again? Yes. Very very foolish indeed. Ah hear now. Carry tv and ps3 to airport while waiting for you flight to depart - i don't think they will be interested in your liquids at that point in security screening. And whattahell. I got money - so much I rather burn it away to light up a bonfire rather than use microwave for cooking..

hey i was wondering if anyone has done the random encounter i think its called "the axe in the stump" in the stratagy guide it sez its really rare to find. anyway i was wondering if anyone has found the axe and is it worth all the time we spend trying to find it. or is it just one of those myths that they want ya to believe exists like excaliber. thanks for any help you all can give me on this thank you.
I've done that rando encounter. No its not worth it, its a hand axe. Who uses hand axes in this game? I sure don't. However if you do use hand axes than yes, it is worth it. Funny you should mention Excaliber...

its like over a week ago since the info sony has it
did sony meet more problems with it or do they really take that long to test a tiny DLC?
i mean if they need that long for such a little data package ... i dont wanna know how long they delay entire games
asassins creed II they took the same time as MS did coz the ps3 and xbox 360 release was on the same day

like i've said in many threads, it all comes down to the company's level of commitment. bioware isn't committed to work on the ps3. they don't care, as long as MS gets its product, thats good enough for them. i mean, they even held the pc version to AFTER it was released on the 360 with no explanations.

And once it has been given over to Sony, everything is out of Bioware's hands, anyways, unless RtO gets pulled, again.....

I don't think pointing out the obvious is going to help this crowd. And keep in mind I'm in the same bloody boat.

It's a shame that PS3 owners are still getting screwed with the DLC. I've been waiting for this since the "hoilday season" when it was supposed to come out and im sad to report that if this is the way its going to be with every bit of DLC that comes out, i for 1 will be tradeing in my copy of D.A.O
With Heavy Rain coming out, DOA will certainly lose my interest without any DLC. I am also upset about the lack of release of this DLC.

I however do expect this will NOT happen again with future DLC releases, i am not investing my money into a company to incompitent to get their products out on time, i trust Bioware is not that kind of company yes?

As i've said i'll let this greviance go THIS time, Bioware are still n00bs when it comes to ps3 and lordy knows they screwed up the RTO DLC enough as is, doesn't take a math genius to put 1 + 1 together on how this happand

I'm not blaming BioWare. I'm blaming the suits who owns them. Electronic Arts. Those pencil pushing morons care so much about their bottom dollar that they probably pushed the release of the 360 and PC versions of RtO. They were probably so wanting to make a little more money that they allowed the product to go to licensing before testing was even finished and the bugs were worked out. Before EA bought BioWare this situation would never have happened on any generation of console or computer. But when the 360 and the PC version of the DLC forked up they had to cover their rear ends and hit the breaks on the PS3 version until the bugs were worked out. Well if the PS3 version was never released to begin with and they managed to catch this problem and actually fix it before the re-release (Which is entirely possible) why drag their feet with the licsnsing? Is the product even up for licensing review by Sony or did EA decide to wait until the numbers came backe for Awakening to put RtO out there for us PS3 players? This is why I don't plan on buying RtO. Because there are too many questions and there is the ability to answer them without breaking the confidentiality clause in thier contracts. BioWare is blameless. They have to answer to a higher power called EA. I BLAME THEM!

that doesn't mean anything. new titles are available on tuesdays, but the ps store (regardless) WON'T put new content on the store until thursday. new psp games go through this 2 day delay. and i'm pretty sure that sony will NOT make an exception to bioware.
