Return to Ostagar requires Patch 1.02.  Its not uncommon for recent content to depend on recent patches.

im not in the position of blaming others or tossing the fault to those or them but somehow i feel its really sad for a company to dissapoint a part of theyr fans in a way like it is with RtO
i have no idea whos fault it is and i actually dont really care ... there will be reasons but what i cannot understand is the fact that somehow nobody is able to ask around what the problem is where the programm is gonna stuck and what causes the delay and telling that to those fans that obviously waiting so desperatly
if I was to create a game and send it to sony for testing i would ask them every singly day whats the status and wheres the problems and when im gonna get it back to release it because I for myself wish to release my game as soon as possible to "show off" what i have created
dont understand the bioware producers not caring about something they have created with theyr own hands

So, in the end it seems its like 'Frag the PS3 users?" Not really quite fair that PC and xbox users have had this for nearly 2 weeks now and nothing for us. It would have been more fair to release the DLC on time for ALL platforms as not to alienate any one group. I understand that different companies take their time for testing, but given the track record of this DLC, im not hopeful at all. I shudder to think of what will happen for the expanison pack when/if its released and if on time for all 3 platforms. So, in the end, whats the word for us?? Besides wait.

I can't download return to ostagar for my pc. You have probably aswered this already in this thread and I apologise in advance but what do I have to do to download it? I have tried to disable my firewall but it still doesn't work.

i think bioware is on a code of silence. Can i get a moderator to say "present!" just to know that somebody even "related" to bioware is checking up on our questions regarding RtO for ps3?

I say if PS3's RTO doesn't come out before Awaking come in march then I'm selling my copy to Game Stop.

Also I'd put the Money down I got for the game, On the New Pokemon games coming out..

I think that an Official Sticky here with links to the latest patch might be helpful (PC, at least). Most of the non-release complaints that I have read seem to be this, anyways. Or a link on the Launcher that does this....

Gamepressure.com says rto should be out on the 23rd but they've changed the date like 12times I guess their going by what they hear from bioware but does it even matter when it comes out now people really its like sending word troops might be able to come help you within a week or so and your town got destroyed a week ago I mean what's the point anymore. If your playing this on ps3 and your still waiting for it you look as stupid as charlie brown waiting for the great pumpkin king!

I'd like to buy this DLC, but it doesn't appear to be available. I successfully log in (in game), go to downloadable content, and nothing is listed under available content. My points do show up, but there's nothing there to spend them on. All the content I got at release does show up under installed content.



Return to Ostagar has been released, right? This is a little frustrating.



On PC, got the game through Steam.

I've already moved on mentally and physically from this whole RtO PS3 nonsense. I have characters waiting for the items in the DLC but since it may or may not ever come out, I just said, "Forget it." I really love Dragon Age but I've been through the game 6 times. Ready for some new content now. Guess I'll just get Awakening when it comes out and hope that we dont have to go through this with the expansion. It's just the silence on everyone's part that I dont get.Havent heard from anyone in 2 weeks and even then there was nothing about the PS3 RtO except it's "pending."

I haven't been able to finish the game that many times - you have some serious game playing stamina (and possibly no life )

3.5 times for me (.5 because I ran through the ending twice with my AW to get different endings) and now I just can't bring myself to load up the game anymore.  I have no cash so I decided to get into the WAY BACK machine and load Baldur's Gate I and II to play through.   God bless the modding community for the BGTUTU and Widescreen mods (Curtousy of Gibberlings3.net!) to let me play BG1 in the BG2 engine at 1280 x 768 resolution.  It really makes the original playable on large widecreen monitors!

Actually its very easy to beat this game if u know what ur doing my best time passing this game in 25 hours not that long at all just have to know what ur doing

Oh beating the game is very easy! My first run through was on Normal and every one since has been on Nightmare. I just get tired of escaping the dialogue, redoing every encounter (I'm a completionist) and knowing every little piece of what comes next.



Thus I'm taking a break from DA for a while before it totally burns me out. I'm sure I'll get back into it once Awakenings comes out...

I am in a management position and cant comprehend telling my boss or my customers that I didnt know what I was doing or how long it would take. I also find it difficult to understand the lack of concern for customer feed back in an industry where success or failure rest so firmly on your reputation and user ratings. I thought this game was a 10 and should have been VGOTY instead of Demon's Souls. I can see lowering the value a great deal now though when I consider that everything I saw in the games future is not going to happen. I have a friend who has already traded in his version to Gamestop and has stated that he will never purchase another Bioware product again. The replay value of this game is one of the things that I always thought made it so great I mean I got Darksiders and just like God of War you ace it and it sits on the shelf. I thought this would be the one game that never hit the shelf but there it sits waiting indefinitely I guess

This was a conversation I had with a rep from EA after calling and talking to sony direct sony stated that they where not to blaim and gave me a number to EA called and was told to use the online chat.  It is all biowares fault.  They are entirely to blaim for this entire fiasco and they tried to shrug it off on another well established company wow.  Sony made it clear that when you get DLC it comes from Biowares Dragon Age Servers.  This company is done in my house.
