I'm just going to chalk it up to overwhelmed servers and try again later on tonight.

That was a lot of fun. Thanks BioWare!

For those that can't see the DLC hang in there... it did the same thing to me for about an hour. I kept closing and relaunching game... and also using the refresh tool on the DLC screen. Eventually it popped up.

Good luck and goodnight all.

Almost the exact same day that my mom bought me some points too. Awesome. Downloading now~

Thank you, BioWare. <3

That being said, I hope it ends up working for everyone soon. :( *feels bad for those who can't get it*

FYI, I am watching the posts that say they don't see the DLC. I've notified the team, though responses may take a bit, since everyone has gone home. But I will keep you posted on what I learn.

In the meantime, try restarting the game using the DAUpdater.exe, found in Program Files/Dragon Age/

Can't guarantee that will clear you up, but it's a start. Like I said, I am letting folks know and watching for info.

When I run DAUpdater.exe, there's nothing in any of the fields to install.

Hey guys, I posted the manual links to RtO on the previous page. You could try downloading and installing the Offer part at least (which is what is supposed to download automatically to offer you the quest in game even if you don't buy it) and see if that helps.

Doh... That's because I mistyped. I meant DAOriginsLauncher.exe. Anyway, I don't know if that's a fix (I'm not tech support, so don't have any of my skill points in troubleshooting), but it can't hurt. Like I said, I am looking for more info if this persists for you all.

No worries. Heck, you're here posting on this forum at almost 11 PM (MST anyway), I appreciate the extra work you are putting in to try and make this go smoothly. I know what the crunch feels like, trust me - I'm sure it'll all get sorted one way or another. :wizard:

Freakin awesome. Downloading it right now. Oh man what a dilemma for me. I just bought Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3 [GOTY] (for the mods) & this. Well there goes my life...

Someone mentioned that you need patch 1.02, try that. Go to the top of the page Games->Dragon Age: Origiins -> Game updates

Thanks for the links Kepha, but it doesn't download .dazips, I only get .zips and the daupdater won't open them. I tried installing them using the DAModder utility and it seemed to install, but still no content showing in the in-game Downloadable Content menu. I've tried all the other possible fixes. Guess I'll just keep refreshing and reloading and hope for the best!

It shows for me, and I'm using the Steam version (tho i'm not buying until someone tells me if there's improvement over the old x360 version). Things you can try:

+ Check that your "Dragon Age Origins Content Updater" Service is running (Start->Run->services).

+ Start the game from the Launcher

Do you have the 1.02 Patch installed?  Return to Ostagar requires it.

Rename them back to .dazip after downloading them, some browsers just like to change the extension for some reason.
