Rename them back to .dazip after downloading them, some browsers just like to change the extension for some reason.

D'oh! I tried it out and now they just crash the updater when I hit 'install'. Maybe if I just poke them with a sharp stick they'll wise up. Image IPB

Start DAO, if you are logged in, log out. Exit the game.

Try to delete the Manifest.xml file located in folder BioWare/Dragon Age/Settings

Stop and restart the DAOUpdate service. When service is back up running again, start the game. Login and see if that helped. It did for me.

Found the folder, and it worked perfectly.  It's now downloading.  Should flag that to Victor so he can tell the team.

Did that, word for word and still not turning up.

I'm in Australia as well so i don't know if it's got something to do with local servers... currently 5:20 pm on the 30th.

I don't have a Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings folder, unfortunately. :(

It's in your Documents folder, not the installation folder (i.e. Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Settings, not Program Files(x86)/Bioware... etc).

Unfortunately that did nothing for me, the manifest file that was downloaded to replace the one I deleted has no new entries. That is odd, because that manifest file should be the newest one.

Vic - you may want to mention that to someone directly on the team. This would definitely cause my UI to not display new available content, because it looks directly at that manifest file to determine what it displays. The one I am still pulling down from your servers does not contain the new entry for some reason (but I'm still getting one from the server).

Vic - I fixed this on my end, after thinking about what the manifest file was showing.

Basically, I corrupted my manifest file to force the server to reconstruct it for me. When I simply deleted it, it looks like the game rebuilt the file before accessing the server (probably a check on launch to make sure a manifest exists), so it just rebuilt the manifest I had previously based on my already installed DLC.

Once I corrupted my manifest, the DLC immediately appeared after relaunching the game and logging back in to my EA account. I'm guessing it fails a check there and requests new information at that point.

To anyone else having this problem, I would back up your manifest first just in case this does not solve your problem (for example, if it is caused by something else like a firewall or other software). Once you do that, just open the manifest file in Notepad or something, and just delete a large chunk of the text contained within and save your changes. Then re-launch DA:O and log into your EA account.

Hey guys, I posted the manual links to RtO on the previous page. You could try downloading and installing the Offer part at least (which is what is supposed to download automatically to offer you the quest in game even if you don't buy it) and see if that helps.

Thanks! It wasn't showing up for me so I tried this and it worked. Yay!

Well after all the delays with R.t.O. it's finally out, I download it and need version 1.02. Fine I get the dam patch and it won't install. it's it gets partially through the install then states "Error -36". Please HELP!!!! Also at this point if I uninstall will I have to do all my achievements all over again or are they tied to my login? The installer reads:

Running external installer for 'RTPatch'... This may take a few moments

If it`s not running, simply run it manualy.

Worked for me :)

Got tired of refreshing/restarting/waiting/etc.  This worked first time.
