Hello, i've been having an issue with my City Elf's ears... I know Shianni and other female elves have their ears sticking out a little bit, and I want my City Elf female warden to have a similar hair style to lielianna's (except without the braid) and have her ears stick out just a little bit out of the hair.
I've seen a few NPC female elves with this before so I know it can't be just because my warden is female. No matter what I do in the "ear/neck" section of the character creator I can never seem to be able to accomplish this.
Maybe I have to be a Dalish elf for this to happen? I don't think that's the reason either since you can be an elf mage, alienage elf as well so it wouldn't make sense if they are all part of the same race >.>
I appreciate any assistance on this issue! ;P

Um, not sure what version you have since your game's not registered, but if you have the PC version you can download pretty faces mod and all the elf heads have big ears, if I recall correctly.

You either need to make acustom head in the toolset...
OR
as Sarielle said, either the pretty faces mod, or the Chargen mod (better imo) has some good preset faces with looooong ears

Yeah, console users are kinda screwed over in that aspect. The PC users can either download said mod or make their own custom faces using the Toolset's morphing tool.

Ahh... I'm on the PS3 so I guess from what I'm hearing i'm kinda SOL ;(
oh well, it's not THAT big of a deal but it's kind of a bummer.
Thanks anyways though. It's kind of strange how they make characters in game without the user being able to re create that kind of character without adding additional faces and stuff.
I guess i'll just stick with a hair style that shows off those lovely ears then; I figure if I play an elf it would be kind of silly to hide their distinct feature (other than the fact that they are shorter than humans
)
anyway, thanks for the quick replies it means a lot!

This is one of my characters, & is on PC, but this Hair is one of the naturally available choices. I would think it would be on the PS3 as well. Give it a consider:
Tayo Surana:

Is this what ya had in mind? A Hair that gives full proud ear view? I agree that I think Elves should show their ears proudly!
They have the good fortune to be an Elf species that isn't disgustingly corny or little kiddish. Not all Elf species are so fortunate.

Holy gravy! Sorry to resurrect and oldish thread, but this is the first female elf I have seen I thought was even remotely attractive. Any chance of you uploading the morph somewhere?

Isn't there a readme with install instructions or something ? Generally, to manually install a simple mod, you just put the files in <your documents>/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override/<optional folder of your choice> and whenever you start the game or the toolset, it will scan the whole folder and its children for files.

I wonder if it would be possible if Bioware could make a patch or download for console users to get impressive elven ears. It could just be somethin added to the char creator, like ear width and it changes the amont of space between the head and the ears, so you could have ears stick out a bit.
