I was going to use the word cozy, but figured maybe that was going too far?  Ah heck no, it's cozy as hell up in there!

Anyone else find this? The old Normandy had almost the same effect, but was a little too dark.  This one is just right.

I have no idea why, just the lighting, the stars and the mass effect blue light going by.  It's cozy man.
Especially the arms room with Jacob.  I swear I could spend hours just chilling with him, shooting the ****, watching the Universe go by.

I like how EDI is basically the Normandy herself at the end.

Actually.. I don't I liked the SR1 all be it not the flashiest thing out there it felt like this is the ship that could get things done the SR2 feel like a hummer to me. It's Big Sucks Gas and has options you don't even use.

IMO, the SR2 is too large. It's a space ship and they made it extremely roomy. 4 people could walk side-by-side on the wide walkways.

Yeah I know what you mean (it's not practical to have all that open space), but I don't find it too large gameplay-wise. I find it a nice refuge though!

I LOVE the captain's cabin. It's got just the right amount of living space, and the skylight to the stars is fantastic. It'd be a great little place to live.

That's probably the point - In Mass Effect 3, the SR2 Normandy will probably be serving an upgraded role as a fast-attack/recon frigate. It has plenty of room to handle a larger crew.

SR2 had a pretty nice design. The elevator scared me at first, but it turned out to be an actual means of transportation and not a cunningly disguised torture device after all.
