OK, so the thermal clips had supposedly come in since reverse engineering the geth weaponry from the attack on the citidel... that sounds about right. More powerful weapons... more heat generated. Logical.

So then we come to Jacob's loyalty mission and you come across a ship that had crashed on a planet 10 years ago and guess what... THEY ARE ALL USING THERMAL CLIPS...

The ship weapons were using thermal clips over 8 years before they were developed heh. In reality they should have been using the old weapons which used no thermal clips... Would make the mission harder too because the enemy wouldn't drop any "ammo". They should have weaker weapons to compensate though. Would definately make you manage your ammo better.



Mind you... this is just a minor niggle... the game is still blowing my mind away.
