So I find myself ask does Barrier stack with Tech Armor. I wanted to make my character super tough, but I can't even tell if I have barrier up while using Tech Amror, and have seen no appreciable differance in performance thus far.
So does Tech Armor Stack with barrier or even fortitude for that matter, or should I be looking for something entirely differant to develop my character with?

Even stacked, you can't just go walking around immune to bullets. One makes a good safety net, two doesn't contribute appreciably even if it does stack.
Do you already have good abilities to breach Barrier, Shield, and Armor pools? Do you have some form of crowd control?

Yeah, I have lots of abilities, and am quite good at takeing down all of the defenses, Sentinels are like that. I'm alway more of a defensive fighter, so anything that can make me better defensively is a big draw for me. With maxed out Tech Armor I'm already crazy tough, I was just hoping to have that extra layer of protection like many of the boss type characters have.

honestly couldn't tell the difference. I tried Tech Armor with Barrier, Fortification, Geth Shield, and ultimately decided to go with Reave cuz it's really the best advanced training power you can use. it does some nice damage to barriers and armor, if you choose to evolve it with the area damage it can incapacitate several enemies at once, and more often than not your enemies are organic so you can heal yourself with it, too.
