Anyone ever find out who Billy is that we let off the prison ship with Jack? Going through my second run through now and I just saw the message from him and realized it was never followed up with my parashep
Just a pointless message, do not expect anything in me3.
Now that I think about it, all those "decsions" you made in ME1 just affected what letter you got, quite disappointing really.

haha... that is true to a point (rare exceptions like the rachni), which does suck.... but I don't think that they would do something internally within the new game that they didn't follow up on

It's not the only thing they affected, but for the most part, yes. Are you really surprised, though? Writing an entirely different game based on every minor decision made in ME 1 would have made the ME 2 project a ten-year-long event, lol. They have to draw the line somewhere.

I didn't do the Consort's quest and I heard a news report about how she was considering leaving the Citadel because of slander and lies being spread about her.

I agree thats a coding nightmare.
But I just found letters closing up loose ends and major decisions like what you did with the council seemed pointless, I wanted something, does not have to be fancy. Nothing I did in ME1 had consequences going into ME2, still get to the end, all weapons, all upgrades, all missions, full party, and full loyalty.

Well I've got a message from the consort telling me she's doing well and yadayada.
Also, I've got a message from the reporter that asked me to put the bug.
Also, I've found the lady that wanted me to kill her "competition", I "left" her go, now she's doing charity work.
Also, I've received an email from the guy who got his wife "confiscated", appreciating my "work".
Also, I've found Fist in the club. Also, you can tell Moridin you know the guy he is talking about because in fact you met him on Vermine.
Also, another nice touch, that salarian lady that gives you access to Saren's "office", if you let her go, she's working with Okeer.
I'm not too far in my second run, but is my first run with an imported character.
I must say that I found very nice to see all these little details to continue on ME2. Really good work. I know I might come across some more of these little things and I really like them. Shows that the developers thought about just everything.

As for the Billy email, I'm thinking DLC.

The asuri who Thane kills on his recruitment quest is the chick from the citidal who ask you to "save" her sister from mercs in ME1. There is one I can't find though. There was a merc base in ME1 that if you chose the paragon decision & let the leader go, she returns in ME2 to my understanding but I havn't found her yet.
Afterlife, in the section between the upper and lower levels.

As I said, Fist, the one you are talking about, Varyen, is in Afterlife club
My Fist was killed in ME1 by Wrex on all of my play-throughs but then I liked Wrex. The person I was reffering to was a chick

False. Fist only dies if you bring Wrex with you during the mission. You can let Fist walk free if Wrex isn't with you.
