Unfortunately, I do not have a viable way to connect my 360 to my router/modem. So when I had recieved my codes for the DLC I went over to my friends house and while I was there I connected my 360 to his network. I downloaded all the DLC (initially using his Xbox, but then migrated the licenses onto my Xbox) and played for a while. However, when I got home I was not able to load my previous save. I got an error something like, "The following DLC content is unavailable: Zaeed, Normandy Crash Landing." When I went back to his house the next day (yay for no more exams/long weekend) I made sure it wasn't any licensing issues. I connected my Xbox 360 with the hard drive and connected to Xbox Live. When I went to load my save, it worked. Puzzled, I went back to the Xbox dashboard, unplugged the ethernet cable and started the game again. It did not load my save and I was given the same message as earlier. So now I turn to you, ME Tech Help. Is there anyway for me to use the DLC without being connected to Xbox Live?

im not tech help..but i can venture a guess.
like any game with a dlc offering, once you download the dlc and start making savegames with that dlc in the game world - you cannot go back. your savegame is 'locked' to having that dlc. try borrowing your friends hard drive (where the content is)
