Nope. What you see is what you get. Kinda a letdown, even if she wasn't going to rejoin your party, you don't get much of a reunion.

Apparently she does actually explain what's going on, to a degree, if you choose the right dialogue options. Baring that, the comics will probably shed some light on the whole problem eventually.
Still I do hope this gets resolved in the next game. I can understand keeping the ME1 LI's out of the second game given the whole 'you and everyone else can die' angle, but it just hurt to see Liara so bitter...
