Alright so In Thane's loyalty mission (Sins of the Father) there comes a point where you are supposed to be able to choose between being a "good cop" or "bad cop".  I have tried all possible dialog options and have yet to be able to play the role of "good cop".  According to the 'Prima Official Game Guide' I am supposed to be able to choose "good cop" and use LT Paragon Interrupts to gain Paragon points.  The only result I'm getting is "bad cop" with Paragon dialog options.  What gives?

The game is buggy, and the strategy guide authors are on crack.

Renegade FTW. I didnt choose either, i chose the middle option about "not going with a plan at all" and my first line was renegade: "Im a Spectre, tell me what i want to know," the guy does, and Thane says that i have the record for quickest interrogation ever. hoooray.

Well, the game IS really buggy. (Shepard running sideways, still firing forward) and Prima guides have been inaccurate before..

When you play for pure Paragon, then pure Renegade in 2 different games, its a big deal.

I mean, we've seen plenty of inaccuracies and bugs already I wouldn't be surprised if it's just another instance here. Personally, I chose neither option and was able to go either direction that way, though I can't remember if it gained me any points.

It could simply be Prima meant the dialog options, but if the option is right in front of you in the game, it would be nice if it worked.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't going to cause me some crazy nerd-rage and make me stop playing this game.
