Alright i picked up mass effect 2
IMO Dragon age>Mass effect 2 ((But i'm a fantasy rpg freak Sci-fi was always to cornball for me and it seems so forced the acting)
Anyways i'm almost done the human noble Orgin I'm just recuilting the dwarves and elves to join me, and i was thinking what to try next.
First time through i was a tank this time with a human noble i'm a two hander bashing machine (I liked the tank roll more)
i thought of trying it again with either a mage or a dwarf commoner story line next time through. and maybe switch up my party a bit
i tend to use Allister, Lilania and Wynne in my party.
What to try next

Playing a well built mage is always fun, esp Arcane Warriors. I've been playing a rogue in my latest play through and I must say forcing myself to not use Alistair has been tough, but its been REALLY nice to unlock my own chests and traps. If you wanna change in baby steps, play the mage next w/ arcane warrior and have a heavy armor wearing magical bad ass

I really liked the Cleric class mod you can DL, there were a couple other ones on Nexus too, Grenadier and Summoner if memory serves. If you are bored with the standard classes that is.

I always suggest trying a DW/Archer Dalish Rogue/Ranger(Funnest combo I've tried yet). City Elf would work too, I just prefer being an Archer as Dalish. Stealth is a must, as is Arrow of Slaying. I only took the wolf pet in the Ranger skill tree. I also like to use the respecialization mod to respec my companions, so Morrigan is my healer, and Sten is my DW tank.
If that doesn't float your boat, you could try rolling a Mage.

If you like being the tank, try sword+shield and a dwarf noble. I've always been a fan of dwarves and it's entertaining being the "mini tank" going toe to toe with the ogres and dragons. I also just feel most comfortable taking the point as the tank.
I haven't tried any other combos yet, just played through the origin intros for curiosity sake, but I'm eager to try an assassin and dps mage next.
