Don't you miss those talks we used to have in the elevators?

Something tells me BioWare missed the point.

This. I'd rather take the elevator than watch those load screens. At the very least, the elevators kept you immersed in the game, and the news/dialogs were interesting sometimes. But every time I see a load screen, it's frustrating.

People hated elevators in general. Half of them assumed it wasn't even a loading screen. People complained, Bioware gave us loading screens in their place and now the player base wants them back.

Are you playing on PC? On the 360 load screens can be as short as a few seconds and as long as like 20 seconds.

Not all of us own the PC versions and/or instal the games to our HDD, y'know.

On my PC the loads were increadibly fast, though that's mainly due to the hardware.
As for the conversations, you still get plenty of them in this game. They tend to occur a bit more "naturally" however.

On the xbox version you have the option to install the game to the local hard drive if you have one, makes the load times fairly decent for the most part. Even with longer loads, however, they are well placed so you never feel like it's interrupting gameplay. During the actual missions you never really experience any of them.

When you have an original 360 with a 20 gig hard drive and 5 years worth of save data, you don't have room to install the game lol.
And they may not happen a lot during missions, but they are still frequent enough that I don't expect to go 10 minutes without seeing one.
