I just started my playthrough save with him as my LI. In the very opening he runs up to me in his pink armor just like Ashley and Liara wear.... Made me lol.
Haha Kaiden in pink armor.

I guess he is in pink armor only if he is your LI. He not my LI in my play through and he came out in his regular armor.

I didn't pursue any LI and was playing femshep and he was in the pink armour. (Although he had the goggle helmet)

Sorry about resurrecting this. But it just dawned on me when I watched him again today and thinking how pink fits his personality perfectly. Here's to wish he continues to wear pink in ME3.

That goddamned Phoenix armor. I got so mad every time it was the most powerful armor in my inventory and I'd feel compelled to put it on or put it on one of my squadmates. I'd just scowl at myself or them for wearing that stupid thing. And then Kaiden's still wearing it in ME2. Goddammit, Kaiden.

Liara is wearing it too, in the opening sequence, if she's the romanced character for your Shepard. Apparently there was a sale on Phoenix Armor the week before the Normandy was destroyed.

I too wish they could have changed that opening at least make it red or the original amour he had on Horizon. Both Liara, and Ashely had the same amour must have been a sell on the amour lol.

I made a femShep who would look good in pink, just so she could wear it. I got the Colossus armor earlier than I ever have before. Serious WTF moment.

Heck, I was annoyed when Ashley turned up in Phoenix again.
That reminds me, I need to figure out how to texture mod ME1 so I don't have to wear the dang desert camo for half the game. I always find Scorpian armors and they're always better than what I'm wearing.
