Wow... that's video looks sooo convinced.

Beside i just checked one of my save ames and noticed many Kasumi triggers but i am petty sure that i never meet her in game.
Sheeeehs... i wish Bioware would finaly drop some info about her, if he is just placeholder for Liara as mant claims or is she real party member...

Oh my god, we already had this topic a few weeks ago with same fake picture, its not even in 3d, its a 2d concept, kasumi another useless female human biotic, im disgusted we dont get variety in me 2, way to many humans but i guess thats TIMs fault for being so antie alien, she probably will look like that but thats not the right concept, its been photo edited, and i cant wait to see the looks on your faces when kasumi comes out and doesnt look like that

She is not a placeholder for Liara. If you look into the CookedPC folder you will find several files with DLC in there. One is something like CitHub_Thief_DLC. This means we'll get a DLC with Kasumi and you'll get to pick her up on the Citadel. There is a separate Liara_DLC file ...

PS: I also thought Shepard's hair looked weird. Sort of like it was oily, as if she hadn't taken a shower for ages...

I think most of us already know for certain she is the last squadmate. Someone had a video where you see her dialgoue (he character is a placeholder avatar). She is actually the third valid candidate for the Vents in the suicide mission.

Obviously we seeing a lot of place holder text and placerholder art for now. This is just so her spot it saved in the code. Probably after they finish the DLC, it will all get replaced with the real stuff. Another clue is I think she is recruited in Citadel, I am not sure it has been a while I seen the file name that contains her data (the name of the file hints to where the character is met).

I hope Kasumi is more fleshed out that Zaeed. Sure, he is a bad ass, but on the ship he basically has nothing to say...although a lot of squad interaction in ME 2 is rather anemic.



It would be cool if Kasumi was awesome and a fully fledged character like Shale in DA, but I doubt it.

Are you kidding? Zaeed has the most to say behind Joker.

I must have missed it.  He does tell stories, but you really have no "interaction" with him.  His mission is pretty cool.  It is pretty much made clear he won't be back for ME 3 as I can't imagine his mercenary heart will bleed for the Galaxy.  So he seems pretty fly by night...

if you check in mass effect 2 >BioGame>CookedPC you ll see BioD_Nor_Kasumi.pcc 3 rd one on top of BioD_OmGrA.pcc even got zaeed in between so i guess it s not fake at all hehe

You both have mouths that don't connect to a brain.  All the characters on the squad screen are 2D images.  There is mention in the coalesced.ini of Kasumi, including that image.  It's simple to unlock.  The voice files are in as well, but as far as I can see the actual model/animation isn't in yet.  Maybe if you actually did some homework before posting uneducated statements you wouldn't come off looking like complete idiots.

1. Its probably the same thread.
2. I never said that it was the "final" version of her.  I meerly posted a screenshot of whats's on there now.
3. How are you going to "see the looks on your faces" when I'm pretty sure no one posting here is going to be sending you any pictures of ourselves?

She certainly sounds more english to me, with a slash of american, but mostly neat english accent.



Considering the concept art of her, I'd guess they would keep fairly close to the cloaked image, keeps the stealthy appearance. But they might change a few things, colour, material etc. I mean christ, Zaeed had a beard in his concept art; it looked better.

The voice can be a placeholder just as the character model. Don't take anything granted about a character that hasn't even been announced yet.

It's just speculation, I'm aware of that. But why put the voicework in there only to replace it? I'd understand that with a placeholder model, but why the voice? The VA sounded fine. *shrug*
