Wow! Samara's loyalty mission was just amazing. My favorite mission so far in the game by a long shot. I thought the V.I.P club was great, and the fight between Morinth and Samara was intense. I didn't expect to have the option to save Morinth and kill Samara. That was a great surprise!
Of coarse I had to side with Morinth, being a renegade and all.

I found her quite intriguing as well, though I didn't side with her. I'm playing a Paragon after all, but it was tempting. What's her dialogue like on the Normandy if you side with her?
Does she take on Samara's appearance, or does she look the same as she did on Omega?

You'll die if you sleep with her. She's evil, she wants you dead. If you romance with her, she'll kill you with a smile on her face. Like Samara said, she's super manipulative.

She pretends to be Samara to everybody else on the squad, with only Shepard knowing the truth. You can still have freaky mind sex with her, but that ends up with a game over.

Honestly, that's the stupidest way for Shepard to die.
Illusive Man: Wait WHAT?! Shepard is dead again?! That is a big, big shame. But at least we gave it our best shot. Shepard came far as it is, and I'm sure that his death was a glorious one and he saved many lives with it.

So people would stop complaining there isn't any F/F romance or that there's no Asari romance options.

What I am trying to say, usually just because you are good or you are bad doesn't make those around you that way.
Now you can help the people around you, do things for them, and even talk to them to maybe see your opinion of things but it won't change their 'core' personality. In most cases.
Mornith is one. She is evil. She kills people for power, and pleasure, she is a predator that stalks the most interesting prey. Admiral, Commander, good, evil it wouldn't matter to her.

I've heard if you're heavily paragon at the time you do the mission then the decision is made for you and you automatically help Samara.
Keep in mind that's only what I've heard, I can't say if it's true or not.

I was near full Paragon by the time I got Samara's quest, and it still gave me the option.
I think you either have to make Paragon/Renegade conversation choices for it to not automatically trigger, as without it, you fall under her spell, and it assumes Samara has to rush to save you from death by snoo snoo.

I think it was them joking around thinking it would be funny if Shepard died having sex.
