Every time that I try to scan a planet for minerals, quests, etc.. I will launch several probes and then when I try to quit using the escape key, and it will not exit; it gets stuck on the scanning screen with no way to get back to the rest of the game.
Sometimes for the first couple probes it will allow me to exit, however after 1-3 probes it will lock up the excape key. It is getting really annoying and I can't find any info on anybody else that has had this problem on the forums or the rest of the web.

This problem is on Mass Effect 2.
I am running a Windows 7 machine with 2.6GH dual core AMD processor, ATI 3400 series vid card, 4 GB ram. Well over the recommended stats.
Little more info, the problem happens on every planet, every system.

I am having this issue aswell, you are not alone. I just had it happen to me for the first time, I scanned a few planets and on this last one i scanned i cant exit the scanning screen.

argh me too!! this is stink as. BIOWARE bring out a patch to fix this please???
