It REALLY felt epic, like it was a life or death situation. Everyone at their breaking points, doing as much as they can. Amazing.

I agree. I have to say though, I was really scared the whole time that someone was going to die. I seriously wasn't sure if Shepard was going to make that jump at the end.

You mean when you're on the Normandy afterwards? That's true, I'm just talking about the actual mission and stuff.
No, I mean.. the entire squad and crew (if you react fast enough) surviving. You went on about impossible odds and how dangerous this mission is, but everybody leaves the base without a scratch.

Also whoever said the character development is improved is wrong. They jump to their personal quests really fast and stuff. I found it hard to care for most of them.
Which hopefully leaves for ME3 to continue with the same characters and develop them further.

But...that's not really the majority or anything. Bioware said it's not impossible for everyone to survive. Most people I've talked to have had at least one team member die or Normandy personnel die. That's the point, it comes down to the right choices you make.

I loved it and brought everyone home.LucidStrike wrote...
I enjoyed the mission, except that Legion and most of the crew died. Next time, everyone must survive.
I love the fact that afterwards you can invite your LI up to your room, that was classy.
Kudos BioWare.
Tali is very happy in the Captain's chambers.

Maybe if you have been spoiled in some way before doing it. My first playthrough I just went along with things and everybody survived, but every moment of that was still climactic. Every single cutscene on the suicide mission was climactic.Dave of Canada wrote...

Funny, Miranda keeps giving me dialogue about the up coming mission. I think she's being evasive.

I was so nervous going through it all, and having to decide who does what...excruciating, knowing that one of them might die because you messed up in your decisions.
Luckily, I left no one behind
